About me

I am a Nutritionist & Natural Therapist having completed 10,000 circa hours of research in   nutrition & natural therapies. Specialty: gut problems/chronic illness/weight gain and general nutritional advice offered in a supportive environment.

About Me

Hi, I'm Debbie

I became passionate about nutrition and natural therapy and the huge benefits it can have for your health when I, myself, became chronically ill.

Before I became chronically ill I was full of life and undertaking a Legal Executive Course, playing squash four times a week, running several times a week, playing golf and had a very good social life.  My health gradually took a downwards spiral which culminated in an inability to concentrate, I became chronically fatigued, began to suffer with gut problems and intolerances and, as a result, rarely engaged in any physical activity and my social life suffered tremendously.

As stated above, over the years I suffered with multiple degenerative diseases all of which my healthcare providers at the time were unable to treat or make better.

I was so blown away with the huge impact nutrition and natural therapy was having on my life and well being that I undertook a Diploma in Nutrition and Natural Therapy.

It has been my mission, therefore, to put into practice all that I have learned through my qualifications and years of continued research to help other people understand how nutrition and natural therapies can have a positive impact on their life and in order for them to live life to the full, once again.  Having personally gone through chronic health problems, I feel I can offer advice with a bias towards empathy, in a supportive and relaxing environment.

About Nutritional and Natural Therapy

Nutritional Therapy is a science-based complimentary therapy which gives the body the appropriate fuel it needs in order to boost the immune system. We have an immune system for a reason and that is to fight off disease.

Natural Therapy is an essential adjunct to Nutritional Therapy where nature has given us the tools to regenerate the cells of our body and this includes all vital organs. Natural Therapy helps the body to detoxify and, thereafter, have a positive impact on one's health and, just as important, to promote your body's ability to stay healthy. Times ago there probably would not have been a great need to detoxify the body and just good ol' nutrition might have done the job in order to stay healthy, but in today's world where there are copious amounts of chemicals in our food and environment, detoxifying the body has become a vital tool in clawing back that vibrancy you once had.

With the above mentioned Therapies, my aim is to analyse and give detailed consideration to the Questionnaire that you completed regarding your past medical history and present symptoms.  Symptoms manifest so that it can guide the Natural Therapist to the problem area(s): purely treating the symptoms is missing the point and will not, in any event, combat ill health. Once your unique story has been analysed then a healing plan can then be implemented.

How to Begin Your Nutritional and Natural Therapy Journey

I look at each client as an individual as we are all bio-chemically different. In the immortal words of Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, 2,500 years ago “One man's food is another man's poison” and it is still true to this day.

As stated above, in order to fully understand and appreciate the reasons for your ill health and present status, I will need you to complete a detailed Questionnaire.  If you wish, I can email/send by post the questionnaire for you to fill in before your first appointment in order to save precious time at the first consultation.

Our first face-to-face consultation will take 90 minutes and consultations thereafter will be of one hour duration. My fees are set out below:-

First Consultation (90 minutes) - £55.00

Future Consultations (1 hour) - £40.00

Payment will need to be by way of cash as I do not have a card machine

A 10% discount will be applied for students, those over 65 and for block bookings (ie three or more).

Appointments are available from Monday to Sunday between 9.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Appointments outside of these times are available in exceptional circumstances.

It may be advisable, at some stage, to undergo private laboratory testing which are innovative and at the cutting edge of technology and which your current healthcare provider is unable to provide/ offer. These tests will help you to identify underlying bio-chemical imbalances that may be contributing to your current state of imbalance.
