About me
NUTRITION FOR EVERY STAGE OF WOMANHOOD
A female goes through many changes over her lifetime (puberty, menstrual challenges, pregnancy, perimenopause etc) and I'm here to ensure that your nutrition keeps up with your changing needs.
WHO I HELP
I've supported women with low energy, haywire hormones, troublesome tummies and those wishing to manage their weight. The children and teens I see can be fussy eaters, have suboptimal digestive systems, possible food intolerance, poor attention span, skin issues, weight issues and be battling the menstrual cycles hormones
And for those still wanting to start their family I support couples in optimising fertility chances too.
Lastly, I'm now fully trained to work in oncology nutrition and welcome clients who are looking at prevention, those preparing for or are currently receiving treatment and need some support, those on long term oncology medications and those in remission hoping to reduce the risk of a relapse.
HOW I WORK
- ONE TO ONE WORKING - I work with individuals, couples or families either face to face in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas or via Zoom.
- COURSES - I also offer a range of self guided online courses
- MEMBERSHIP - My Well Woman Health Hub is an affordable way to take care of your health with daily support
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Here's what some of my clients have to say:
Highly recommended - after only a few sessions Janet was able to identify and support a number of nutritional/lifestyle habits that were contributing to poor gut health and resulting low energy. Her advice has transformed my eating habits and given me the knowledge to self-manage going forwards. Overall a very friendly, discreet and professional service - five stars!
Janet is a 'one in a million'! She is professional, caring, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour! Janet has helped me immensely with weight issues as well as the complicated perimenopausal for which she, in my mind, is an expert in being able to deal with it as an individual case and not as one treatment fixes all. I would highly recommend Janet for any of your Nutritional needs/issues.
I attended one of Janet's Female "Meno" Mayhem courses - it was brilliant! Janet is great to watch and very knowledgeable. The course was packed full of really useful information to help you think more about about the food that you eat and the impact that it has. Highly recommended!

Further information
What Happens at your consultation:
Once you've booked I send you a comprehensive health questionnaire to complete and bring with you.
At the session we go through your health questionnaire and I ask you questions about your goals, aspirations and also your health.
Once we've thoroughly reviewed your current health I talk to you about the possible imbalances within your body that may be contributing to your symptoms.
We discuss your food likes and dislikes, budget, and cooking skills to come up with ideas that incorporate the foods you need in a way that suits you
Within 48 hours of your consultation I write a report for you that details everything we discussed and it has a tailored plan and a meal planner contained in it to help you make the adjustments.
TESTIMONIALS:
David, 75 – Janet has an understanding, warm and attentive professional manner, quickly putting me at my ease and conducting a sensitive and carefully structured consultation. Her recommendations are proving most effective in improving my health, boosting my energy, and increasing my sense of well-being.
Nicki, 38 – I’ve tried many diets over the years and failed but Janet has been understanding, explained everything really well and was able to help me pinpoint areas where I was going wrong and give me a plan that has really helped me – I’m losing weight and am happy!
ANON, 54 - I have suffered with general tummy problems for many years and finally decided I needed to do something about it where many discussions with GPs hadn't really helped. Janet is great - incredibly knowledgeable and just the right balance of kindness and firmness. The plan she designed for me was manageable and helpful. I needed a number of tests as it transpired my issues were not that straightforward but we got there in the end and I'm delighted with the results. I know now what I can and can't eat, my symptoms are negligible if I stick to that and I also lost 9kg!
