About me

BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist with over 13 years in clinical practice. Are you struggling with niggling health issues or weight problems and have you tried so many options, none of which seem to help or work? Or maybe you've had tests or surgery and need extra support or have tried various diet plans and health ideas and you just need more guidance. Whatever your health  issues are I have a depth of experience and nutritional knowledge that allows me to help you with your health, wellbeing and on-going symptoms and offer a route to resolution.

I see a lot people who have been to their GP many times but still suffer the same symptoms, I also see many people who have been trying to lose weight but just haven't managed to keep the weight from returning.  I am very experienced in dealing with an increasingly common problem known as Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) which requires specialist help to resolve and limit it's return. I am also trained in effective blood sugar control strategies that help to effectively manage and reverse metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance and leptin resistance. Sometimes it can be important to assess your nutrigenomics profile to determine what health imbalances you could be predisposed towards that might need support and management. Nutri genomic testing is a very helpful first step for those constantly suffering on-going problems that have not responded to treatments.

I am a fully qualified and Registered Nutritional Therapist, with BANT and CNHC, which are the Professional Associations that help to oversee our standards and professional advancement. I have been practicing for over 13 years at both my home clinic and at a GP clinic. I welcome anyone who needs help with their symptoms and who would like a clear dietary/lifestlye plan to follow that aims to help resolve any imbalances.

Using your health history, symptom profile and any test results you might have or would like me to arrange and a comprehensive face to face or virtual consultation,  I develop a dietary and lifestyle plan for you to trial for a short period to help improvement in symptoms.  I will also give you on-going nutritional guidance to meet your personal goals.

For complex symptom profiles, detailed assessments and testing options are available, which may follow a referral from a GP.

When it comes to weight loss, I have very effective, safe and sustainable processes for helping you to lose weight and feel great. Either a one off consultation or over three or six sessions I will step you through three distinct phases of the weight loss plan that will allow you to re-set, re-balance and revive your look, health and vitality and allow you to achieve real weight loss. Special rates apply for multiple sessions, so please get in touch for a quote.

As a full member of both the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), it means that I abide by a rigorous code of conduct, ensuring that I practice with privacy, dignity and safety, so you can be assured of a professional service at all times.

I am also a qualified teacher (PGCE) specialising in teaching Nutritional Theory. Primarily teaching students, of Health and Social Care and Nursing qualifications, this allows me to positively influence many newly qualified care workers and remain involved in the grass roots of healthcare.

As a keen exerciser and a mother of teenage boys, my whole family and I use an anti- inflammatory, low allergenic diet to help optimise performance and enhance wellbeing, about which I am happy to give advice.
