About me
I have a special interest in how the mind-body connection contributes to our overall health and wellbeing and how this can be supported through improved Gut Health, Brain Health, Heart Health, Immune Health and Adrenal/Nervous System Health. Our body affects our mind, and our mind affects our body. Recognising how important this connection is can open up many more opportunities for healing than focusing exclusively on one or the other.
I help you understand root causes that may be impacting your wellbeing and education is a large part of what I do. I identify changes likely to have the best outcomes for you with the least effort and:
- work with you to find the best way of eating to suit your unique needs, biochemistry and preferences, and
- help you identify and plan lifestyle and / or mindset changes that could be significant in helping you to achieve your goals
In my experience most people benefit from small changes applied consistently with ongoing support until they are confident to take the reigns ongoing by themselves. This may typically be 3 tor 6 months. Some people, however, are able to make more substantial changes from the get-go and may want information and advice with less ongoing support. We work out together which is the best approach for you.
I focus on a 'can do' attitude, finding ways to overcome obstacles, and to help you get motivated and excited about beautiful foods and simple lifestyle and mindset changes where appropriate.
I'm a Registered Nutritionist® with BANT, Registered Nutritional Therapist with CNHC and Certified Practitioner of Functional Medicine IFMCP, Certified HeartMath® Coach, Positive Intelligence Coach and an NLP Practitioner.
I offer a complementary 20 minute 'Meet-me-and-enquire' zoom or phone call that can be booked on my website https://tidycal.com/lindentreehealth
Mid Life Thriving Group Programmes and Community
I also co-run Mid Life Thriving - a community of warm-hearted women and men who are learning to navigate mid-life challenges with more confidence, ease and flow. This community, which includes structured programmes and ad-hoc education sessions, may be for you if... you are at a decision point in your career, or ...struggling with countless responsibilities in your work and / or home life, or ... are sandwiched between the generations as a parent and carent (carer of your elderly parents), or ...are surviving bereavement, or ...are worried about niggling symptoms or more serious health issues. You may be finding things overwhelming, or just feeling overwhelmed by life itself. You may be feeling you’re doing okay, but you know things could be better, and you want to get your sparkle back (or indeed find it for the first time).
Along with my co-hosts who are also Positive Intelligence coaches: Sophie Carvin, who specialises in Confidence Building, helping people recognise the choices and power they have in their own lives, and Arron Lishaus, experienced strategic planner and educator who is passionate about diversity and inclusion best practice, we run regular one-hour complementary Insight Sessions giving you an opportunity to invest time in yourself and your future and to try out some new tools that we think you’ll love!
Visit our website for more information, to read some of our clients' stories and to book your complementary place on our next Insight Session on 19th August: www.mymidlifethriving.com
