About me
Hello! I’m Sarika, a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of The British Dietetic Association (BDA) for over 20 years.
I have specialist knowledge in the field of weight management and diabetes. I am passionate about these areas as with the right guidance, attitude and support, I have helped people transform their lives in ways that they could never have imagined.
I began my career as a dietitian in Hammersmith & Charing Cross Hospital in departments that were cutting edge in the management of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. I then moved into weight management research at an established university where I joined a team leading the development of evidence-based structured weight management programmes for weight loss and reversal of Type 2 diabetes. This study has since been published in renowned medical journals. In addition, I have led training for health care professionals on best practice weight management both in the UK and at international forums.
My wealth of experience has demonstrated that I can provide the best support to my clients in achieving their dietary or lifestyle goals in a truly holistic manner. My advice and guidelines are evidence-based, tailored to your lifestyle and delivered in a way that can be sustainable by ensuring you are equipped with a toolbox of relevant skills for the long term.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
