About me

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist at Jayne Higgins Nutrition, I specialise in supporting individuals through all stages of life.

My clinical experience has equipped me to assist men, women, and teenagers in constructing impactful nutrition plans aimed at sustaining energy levels and minimising injuries during sports and exercise.

In recent case studies, I've provided essential support to clients facing challenges such as energy depletion, gut health issues, and the pursuit of practical and sustainable methods for achieving and maintaining a lifelong healthy weight.

Many of the individuals I work with are seeking guidance on how to harness energy effectively, I see a lot of exhausted people who just want to regain energy and together we address the crucial role of blood sugar and hormone management.

If you're looking for a nutritional therapist to support your health, whatever your issues, I would love to hear from you. I am a great listener and will investigate your symptoms and history to get to the root cause of your issues.

In my nutrition packages, I offer:

  • Nutrition education and health coaching aimed at fostering positive changes.
  • A comprehensive analysis of your current food, drink, and lifestyle choices.
  • A thorough examination of your medical history and health questionnaire to understand you and your symptoms better.
  • A personalised nutrition plan tailored to your specific needs and aspirations.
  • Guidance on suitable exercise routines and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Regular appointments to monitor your progress and provide support as you make positive changes.
  • Suggestions for tests and supplements to aid your progress, if necessary.
  • Interpretation of blood, stool, gut or other supportive health tests.
  • A 10% discount on appropriate supplements that are carefully selected to complement your plan.
  • Additional resources, recipes, and support as needed.
  • Access to a members-only area of my website where your unique log-in gets you your plans, documents, test results, and recipes or information sheets.

During the free consultation, I'll discuss your needs and determine whether a one-off, three, or six-month program would be best to help you achieve your health goals.

From day one, I want to empower you. Small gains are the only way to attain long-lasting change, I want you to focus on making achievable progress.

My strength lies in my ability to listen, empathise, and connect the dots.

If you'd like to schedule your free call-back to explore how I can best support you in reaching your health goals and address any questions you may have about the process, please email me.

Training, qualifications & experience

A graduate in nutritional therapy with an emphasis on nutrition and lifestyle support for optimal health.

In 2008 I set up a successful catering business where I became passionate about the principles of healthy eating and cooking from fresh. It was no fancy restaurant but a daytime canteen, serving fresh salads, homemade soups, a dish of the day and a range of sandwiches on homemade bread with responsibly sourced fillings.

I noticed many years ago that the food I ate had a big impact on my mood and my energy levels, and I would often have a big energy crash around 4 pm. It was during these years that I became fascinated with the latest fad diets, giving everything a go to loose the weight gained from picking at the kids leftovers and then eating big meals in the evening. I didn't understand what worked for other people didn't work for me.

In 2020, I decided to study nutrition therapy, I passed a science access course and went on to become a registered nutritional therapy practitioner, and am in the process of researching my dissertation for my MSc. I truly believe I have found my passion. Each client is unique and I make it my goal to dig deep and find the real root of whatever it is that is causing their symptoms.

Further information

To provide you with the best care, the process starts with a straightforward nutrition questionnaire to gather information about your health and personal goals.

My approach typically involves a series of consultations to achieve maximum results:

The Initial Consultation (approximately 60 minutes): During this session, we'll delve into your aspirations, current diet and lifestyle, medical history, including any family health trends, and previous test results. By the end of this consultation, you will receive a personalised nutrition plan, guidance on beneficial nutritional tests, and a supplement program if deemed necessary.

Follow-up Consultation (up to one hour): In this meeting, we'll assess your progress, discuss and explain any test results, update your nutrition and supplement plan, and establish new goals for your ongoing health journey.

Further Follow-up Consultations (up to 60 minutes): These sessions will be scheduled as needed to ensure continuous support and monitor your progress, ensuring you have the guidance you require as you work towards your health goals.

My aim is to provide you with comprehensive and ongoing care, so you always feel fully supported throughout your health and wellness journey.
