About me

As a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist I love working with women and teens to make changes happen through diet, lifestyle, testing, and supplements. Being a peri-menopausal mother of two girls, a teen and a tween, I have a particular fascination with those times of great transition when women would often benefit from personalised information and support.

Since going into practice as a Nutritionist I recognise that being able to analyse your health history, diet and lifestyle is not enough. There are many reasons why being given a list of recommended changes may not work and that is why I work in a way that:

  • avoids overwhelm
  • adapts recommendations to your life
  • supports you in getting started and encourages you to keep going when motivation dips

Testimonials:

“I found your nutritional advice very personalised and well informed, practical and easily adaptable to normal family life.”

“I really enjoyed my nutritional therapy with Zoe. I found her very approachable and knowledgeable and I really feel that I have learnt a lot from the process.”

“I’m a very fussy eater and I was worried that I would struggle to eat the foods that Zoe would suggest. However Zoe always thinks outside the box and came up with lots of alternative suggestions which meant that I could follow the plan she had devised and really feel like I could make the changes in the long term"

“I would highly recommend nutritional therapy with Zoe. It has made me much more aware about the food I eat and I really feel that with Zoe’s help I have been able to make positive changes to my diet. Having an underlying medical condition, the therapy has also made me much more aware of potential triggers and given me a better understanding of foods which are best avoided.”

“I have to admit that I went into this consultation process rather tentatively, having followed various dietary regimes without success in the past. From Day 1, Zoe showed great interest, professionalism and compassion in assessing my overall health situation and painstakingly took detailed notes of my symptoms, analysed the various issues and devised a bespoke dietary and supplement plan for me to follow. “

“Zoe helped to make everything clear and very easy to follow with recipes that suited my busy lifestyle as a working mum and that also suited my family budget.”

“I found the advice that Zoe provided to be very straightforward and easy to incorporate into my diet and lifestyle. Zoe was keen to provide bespoke recommendations which fitted in with my busy lifestyle and budget, as opposed to adopting a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I found her to be extremely personable and supportive throughout. The results greatly surpassed my expectations and I was delighted to see vast improvements in all three areas.”

“Zoe’s friendly and professional manner immediately put me at ease during the first consultation. The useful tips and recipes she provided me throughout the sessions were easy to follow and made me realise that even the smallest of changes to a diet/regime could make a big difference. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I found Zoe’s thorough, insightful and practical approach to assessing what I ate and what I might change really beneficial.  She helped me understand what was going on inside me when I ate and how sugar peaks and troughs weren’t helping and she supported me in quite a substantial weight loss goal. “

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist with distinction in 2011. I also hold a BSc. degree in Psychology

I am registered with both BANT and the CNHC and work under their codes of conduct.

I have worked with a wide range of clients from toddlers to pensioners, with a wide variety of goals - from people who are looking to optimise their health or performance, to those with debilitating chronic health conditions.

Since qualifying I have also worked for The UK College of Nutrition and Health for 4 years as an academic tutor.

I have worked with local organisations to deliver nutrition presentations and workshops.

I remain fascinated by the human body and the mass of complex interactions within us - in such a fast moving field, regularly building knowledge through reading research and books, and attending seminars and conferences, is a pleasure and a necessity.
