About me

Gut Issues | Healthy Weight Management | Food Intolerance and Allergies | Fatigue |  Fertility | Hormonal support | Heart Health | Skin Health | Pain management | Alzheimers Prevention | Integrative Oncology

I am an experienced nutrition practitioner based in Belper, Derbyshire, qualified through the College of Naturopathic Medicine. I work from my practice room in tranquil surroundings 15 minutes drive from Derby city centre, 40 minutes from Nottingham and by Zoom.  I have recently completed Professor Dale Bredesden's ReCode and PreCode programmes and aim to complete Dr Nina Fuller Shavel's Integrated Oncology course for nutritional therapists in March 2026

We are leading our lives at breakneck speed!  Perhaps it's the case that you've been eating on the run for long enough, your body is telling you things but you can't make the connections? Maybe you're eating well, you're cooking from fresh, you take supplements, but you don't feel 'Super-You'; that optimal wellness and vitality? That's where it's good to talk to a professional, to help you join up the dots and get back on track.  It's only when you feel better that you realise how bad you felt before.  Yes, and I've been there too!

My job is to look at why you might be feeling less energetic, feel sleepy in the afternoons but can't sleep at night, put on weight you can't shift, struggle with periods or joint pain and so on.  So if you like it's about finding out why the cracks have formed not just plastering over them.

During your consultation, we will decide together what the necessary changes are to your diet and lifestyle that will help you achieve better work/life balance and optimal health.  I use reputable labs for functional testing to establish the roots and drivers of your condition and this also creates a point from which to measure success over subsequent review consultations.

Once you regain your former vitality, resilience and optimal healthfulness you may even feel better than you ever remembered!  Now is a good time to invest in your future health and wellness!

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (Birmingham).  I'm currently finishing training on Professor Dale Bredesden's ReCODE programme for the prevention and reversal of Alzheimers.  I will be studying Dr Nina Fuller-Shavel's Integrative Cancer Care course for Nutrition professionals this year.  I'm a qualified Advanced-trained (ART) and Nerve reflexologist (NR).

I hold an Advanced Cordon Bleu certificate (London), a Certificate of Education (Nottingham Trent University), a Higher National Diploma Institutional Management (Edinburgh Queen Margaret's)
