About me

As a qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist and NLP practitioner, I work with clients 1-1 and all online. Offering fully personalised programmes to help stressed, tired and busy people to improve their health and wellbeing giving simple nutrition and lifestyle advice to create new healthy habits that fit into your lifestyle.

The types of issues clients come to me with include fatigue, inability to lose weight, hormonal symptoms, stress, cravings and emotional eating.  My clients tend to be lacking in energy, willpower and time to address these issues and just want to feel like ‘themselves’ again. I am all about making long term sustainable changes, I use my experience as an NHS Health Coach and certified NLP practitioner to develop new healthy habits, create a positive relationship with food and address issues with willpower.

I also offer a programme focussing specifically on Perimenopause and beyond, taking a unique 360 degree approach to all the factors that contribute to those irritating symptoms. This is perfect for you if you want to know more about what is going on inside your body and the steps you can take to get back in control and would like to support your body naturally through  the perimenopausal and menopausal years (with or without HRT).

I want to give you clear, simple advice that will help you to learn what to eat, but also give you the structure and support that you need to stay on track.

* I do not claim to cure or treat medical conditions. I am not qualified to diagnose medical conditions and any test results that indicate a potential medical condition should be taken to your GP for formal diagnosis and advice.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Nutritional Therapist, with a Master’s degree, a clinical post-grad diploma, accredited Health Coach qualification and a NLP practitioner certification, and also Why Weight? NLP coaching. My practice is fully insured and I’m a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).  As well as running my own private practice I also work in a GP surgery offering Health Coaching for the NHS.

In the field of personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine, the emphasis is on the importance of dietary and environmental factors and their impact on health and disease, and the balancing, healing and therapeutic effects of food and nutrients. I use the principles of functional medicine in my approach, considering the interactions of lifestyle, genetics, physiology, history and mind in the evaluation of nutrition/lifestyle recommendations.

Coaching

I work as a Health Coach in a GP surgery for the NHS and am also a certified NLP Practitioner. NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is a form of motivational coaching used to eradicate bad habits and behaviours and establish new habits. This can be particularly useful where there is an element of emotional eating and self-sabotage, or a perceived lack of willpower. I build coaching into my 1:1 programmes but also offer stand alone sessions.  Results can be seen after one session but for best results a series of 3 sessions is advised for £160.

Cost: £60/hour

When I work
