About me

I am a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist & Health Coach with an interest in weight loss and longevity. Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, I run a successful clinic both in person and online working with people like you who want to manage their health now and well into their futures.

Managing my own weight has been something of a challenge over the years. Like many, I tried slimming clubs and did lose some, only to put it all back on along with a few extra pounds for good measure! It wasn't until I began to approach weight loss in a more holistic way by stepping away from the diet mentality to think about how I could eat well, always, that I found a successful way to manage my weight. I focused on adding in nutritious foods to my meals rather than taking away more and more from my plate whilst looking at stress management, hormone health and activity levels.

"After 8 weeks of working with Nicola, I dropped a dress size." Lydia

How we work together to manage your weight will be totally bespoke to you you and what you need to get you to where you want to be.  We will work together to create long term habits that avoid eating your emotions, that add delicious food in without leaving you feeling that you are missing out on enjoying life and that develop an understanding of how food works. Working this way allows my clients, people just like you, to navigate weight loss comfortably and sustainably.

"With Nicola's support I have gained valuable knowledge that has enabled me to improve my diet and health, along with gaining control over blood sugar spikes. Nicola has always been approachable and professional. I can strongly recommend investing in yourself by working with Nicola, she will not let you down". Carol

"Nicola has been an invaluable support in helping me find my way to a healthy me. Full of fantastic advice, tips and resources to share to guide you in the right direction. I’d highly recommend booking a session and seeing where your journey takes you". Kelly.

I look forward to hearing from you soon,

Best wishes,

Nicola

Additional information

I offer a range of ways for us to work together starting with 'The Power Hour,' a one-hour session where we focus on one area of health that you are concerned about.  You will leave that session with practical tips for small steps you can take for improving your nutrition and lifestyle.

For more complex health issues, and particularly for weight management, you can choose packages of 3, 5, 8 or 12 sessions that will allow us to spend more time working towards your health goals. In those, we'll really explore your health concerns and make real changes to your eating habits and daily routines.  We can work flexibly to have sessions in a timeframe that suits you and your life.
