About me

Stuck in a cycle of emotional eating, binging and frustration with your weight?

You're not alone.

If you find yourself reaching for food when you're stressed, bored, or upset—only to feel guilty afterwards—you're in the right place. Emotional and binge eating aren’t just about food; they’re about patterns, triggers, and habits that feel impossible to break. But change is possible—without punishing yourself, and definitely without jumping into yet another restrictive plan.

I’m Nicola, a Registered Nutritionist and Accredited Practitioner in Disordered Eating and Reflux. I help people who feel controlled by food regain confidence, balance their eating habits, and nourish their bodies in a way that feels good—physically and mentally.

Imagining a life free from the cycle of emotional eating, binging and you want to find freedom from food forever? Then my approach of sustainable changes and nutrition expertise will suit you down to the ground.

"After 8 weeks I feel fully equipped to continue this journey, but I also know that the support will always be there." — Jane, April 2024

Several years ago, I was overwhelmed—juggling a demanding senior role in an inner-city school while navigating personal challenges. I turned to food for comfort but felt worse as my energy, mood, and confidence plummeted. On a whim, I booked a stay at a health retreat, really not knowing what to expect. I discovered that it wasn’t about weight loss or willpower like I imagined. Instead, I learned simple, practical ways to nourish my body, break the cycle of emotional eating, and feel better—without restriction or deprivation.

That experience changed everything. It led me to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist, deepening my understanding of how food and behaviour shifts impact not just weight, but overall wellbeing.

Working together isn’t about rigid meal plans or quick fixes. My approach blends:

✅ Practical nutritional guidance—helping you fuel your body in a way that supports energy, digestion, stable blood sugar and potentially to weight loss.
✅ Behaviour change strategies—so you can break free from unhelpful patterns and build new, lasting habits.
✅ A focus on sustainability—because food should be enjoyable, not a source of stress.

Rather than eliminating the foods you love, we’ll focus on adding in nutrient-rich options and making small, manageable shifts in what you eat, how you eat and, really importantly, how you feel about foods that fit into your life. The goal? To help you feel good in your body and confident in your choices, without the constant battle with food.

"Nicola listened attentively and provided solutions tailored to my routine. Some changes seemed minor, but they had a significant impact on my health and wellbeing." — Hallie, Feb 2024
