About me

Struggling with emotional eating, bingeing, or a constant battle with food—and wondering why you can’t “just eat normally”?

You’re not alone, and you’re not broken. So many of the women I work with are stuck in the same exhausting loop: eating for comfort, dealing with negative feelings, then trying to start over with yet another plan on Monday. But real change doesn’t come from more rules. It comes from understanding what’s going on underneath—and learning to work with your body, not against it.

"Normally when I go away I always give myself a very hard time about what I should be eating, drinking and how I look but this weekend I went away I didn’t judge what I ate or drank and just enjoyed myself and for this I feel really proud of myself. Can’t remember when I last had this feeling so thank you Nicola you have helped me massively 😊" SL March 2025

I’m Nicola, a Registered Nutritionist and Accredited Practitioner in Disordered Eating and Reflux. I help women in midlife rebuild a calm, confident relationship with food—one that supports physical health and emotional wellbeing.  If you're not sure I’m the right fit, let’s chat anyway—if I can’t help, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction.

My approach blends practical nutrition strategies with tools from CBT and neuroscience to help you manage emotional and binge eating, tackle persistent reflux, and move beyond all-or-nothing thinking. I also offer tailored support for those using GLP-1 medications for weight loss, helping you get the most from the process while staying nourished, supported and in tune with your body.

Together, we’ll untangle the habits and triggers that keep you stuck, while creating flexible food routines that feel satisfying and freeing.

Imagine knowing what to eat, without second-guessing yourself. Imagine not feeling panicked when life throws you off track. Imagine seeing food as fuel, medicine—and yes, joy.

We won’t rely on rigid plans or cutting out the foods you love. Instead, we’ll focus on small, sustainable shifts that work in real life, not just on good days. You’ll leave with simple strategies that stick—even when things get messy.

"Working with Nicola has been a turning point in my journey—an unlearning of old fears and a relearning of what food truly is. Food is not the enemy. It is fuel. It is culture, connection, and love.  For the first time, I see food for what it is—not something to fear, but something to embrace." TN April 2025

Let’s change the way you relate to food—so it’s no longer the enemy, but a powerful ally in your wellbeing. Ready to begin? Book a free 30-minute consultation and let’s start that conversation.
