About me
I assist women in enhancing their health by developing healthy habits and maintaining a positive relationship with food. This may include gradually losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way, boosting fertility, or reducing the symptoms and risks linked to PCOS.
MY APPROACH
My approach combines nutritional science alongside behaviour change coaching and psychology. Accurate nutritional advice and information are the foundation, but true and lasting progress requires long-term behaviour change. How many of us don’t know that we need to prioritise sleep, stress management, or eat more vegetables? Often people get stuck with turning their intentions into sustainable actions. Long-term change of habits often requires the following:
Understanding WHY you want this change and looking for your true, intrinsic motivation will help you stay on track during the more challenging times
Knowing HOW to make these long-lasting changes; setting goals that are meaningful and realistic, knowing what to do when your motivation fluctuates, and having a plan so that slip-ups, which are an important part of a change process, do not turn into a sense of failure and result in giving up.
Having continuous SUPPORT when you are struggling with the HOW, and somebody to guide you through the times when the WHY ceases being as powerful and clear.

FEEDBACK FROM MY CLIENTS

“Monika has been wonderful. In addition to being knowledgable, professional, and structured she is thoughtful and kind. Addressing nutritional issues can be challenging both on an emotional and practical level and her compassionate approach and focus on finding tailored solutions that were workable for me was invaluable.” (VL)
“I reached out to Monika in a moment of great despair, I did not know what I could do to feel better, I was overwhelmed by many things and, most importantly, I thought I would never be able to find a solution. I found the support and sensitivity I needed, I found all the information and tools I was looking for, and I will always have with me. “ (Greta)
“Really great experience and surpassed my expectations as to what I would be getting for the money I was spending. Monika has such a diverse range of knowledge. I felt supported throughout this whole process and she even managed to get me the correct diagnosis. Something that my GP had missed. So for me was a life-altering experience.” (Genevieve)
“Working with Monika has been one of the best things I could do for myself. She is incredibly knowledgeable and during each session, I unlearn heavily ingrained toxic diet culture behaviours. She’s very supportive and will give you the space you need to find what feels good for you.” (Andreea)
HOW I WORK
Whether you are looking for a comprehensive programme or just a few sessions to get started, I am here to help you reach your goals. My programmes are designed for each client. Depending on a client’s needs, a programme may include a nutrition-only or a combined approach, for example, some nutrition sessions alongside hypnotherapy, or psychology appointments. I work with a team of trusted health and wellness professionals to ensure that every woman I consult benefits from the full range of appropriate treatments available. Together we provide science-based, honest, and compassionate approach to health and wellness.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have a Master's in Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition. Over the ten years working in the NHS and private practice, I have gained knowledge in a broad spectrum of conditions. When I see a client for the management of fertility, PCOS, or lost/irregular periods, I will make sure that my advice does not go against their other conditions, i.e. IBS, disordered eating, or food intolerances. I have extensive experience working with women who have had disordered eating and I aim to support women develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.
I have been running a virtual clinic since 2019, before this, my private practice was based at Lycahealth, Canary Wharf. I use professional technology, so the audio and video are very high quality (similar to what you see in my youtube videos- see below). I work with clients who have healthcare insurance and also those who are self-funding.
