About me

Bio-Nutritionist and Nutrigenomic Consultant

As certified Bio-Nutritionist, Nutrigenomic Consultant and trained Chef I am passionate about inspiring my clients with highly personalised practical, vibrant & exciting dietary/lifestyle interventions.

I offer a holistic healthcare approach based on scientific evidence which looks at the complex interplay between body systems.

In my daily clinical work I identify and target metabolic imbalances that may cause weight gain or other health issues. Health strategies usually start from optimising gut health and digestion and are aimed at:

  • leaner body shape and weight
  • better energy levels/sleep/mood
  • balancing hormones
  • optimising the immune system

My strength lies in offering dietary and lifestyle advice which is realistic and practical. Often health issues are linked with enzyme deficiency, food intolerances or an imbalanced microflora which need to be addressed. Advice on specific testing is provided, if required.

For a targeted, long-term weight loss clients can book my 'Trim & Slim Programme' to kick-start their health + energy + weight loss in 4 weeks (SPRING OFFER £420 for complete nutrition & lifestyle makeover including 6 Bio-Nutritional consultations, regular coaching, meal plans and easy recipes + shopping tips).

At Harley Street, I also assist patients during the state-of-the-art Ellipse Intragastric Balloon procedure. This intervention is suitable for those with a BMI higher than 27 that have not had any results with different diets. The procedure is the first not requiring anaesthesia, endoscopy or surgical intervention.

If required, I can advise on functional testing and nutrient supplementation as part of a comprehensive approach aimed at influencing metabolism and gene expression.

I specialise in gut health, detoxification and energy boosting for all ages.

I also often assist my clients with pre-conception, pregnancy & middle age nutritional advice.

Depending on my clients' requirements I can also offer highly individualised therapeutic strategies based on DNA testing. I advise on:

  • the most suitable DNA test
  • how to interpret test results
  • how to affect gene expression through nutrition & lifestyle

Nutrigenomic interventions offer many advantages as they are based on the interaction between genes and lifestyle. Knowing for example, if we have a higher fat or carbohydrate sensitivity or if we have a higher requirement for specific nutrients may enhance motivation to follow specific nutritional guidelines. It is also fascinating to get an insight on which sports activities are suited to our genetic make-up.

I practise in Richmond, over Skype and at LCAS clinic in Harley Street. Here I collaborate with doctors prescribing state-of-the-art Fast-Mimicking Rejuvenation Diets and DNA tests aimed at improvement of energy, detoxification and anti-aging. Telomere testing is also provided to design personalised youth-span lengthening programmes focused on disease prevention.

As a professionally trained adult health educator and wellness chef I also offer:

- Health Seminars for schools and the corporate sector

- Themed Wellness Cookery Workshops (for individuals or groups)

- Health recipe testing and writing
