About me

Registered Nutritional Therapist in Surbiton, Claygate and Cobham. I am an experienced and empathetic nutritional therapist and my  specialist areas are gut health/digestive/bowel health, hormones, skin/chronic skin conditions, hormonal imbalances/ PMS, respiratory, fatigue. autoimmune, allergies/intolerances, yeast overgrowth, weight loss, unexplained fertility issues/pre-conceptual care/recurrent miscarriages. (Telephone/Online Consultations are also available).

"I do not need my Reflux tablets any more, and as an added bonus, I have lost 11 lbs in weight. Ann is very knowledgeable and supportive and I have already recommended her to friends. Thank you Ann."

"I feel incredible! My stomach is completely flat and since I've started eating what you suggested and taking the vitamins you suggested, I haven't been bloated, windy or constipated since. It's amazing!" (2 weeks after consultation)

"I am now feeling very calm and my brain fog has completely gone. I have so much more energy!"

I have a holistic and functional medicine approach addressing the root cause of your health issues and focusing on the body as a whole, rather than on individual symptoms.  I look at your underlying imbalances and deficiencies, impaired digestion, toxic overload as well as emotional trauma to restore overall health. Simple and realistic dietary and lifestyle changes can significantly improve your well-being, and a low allergenic diet with the removal of toxins, allows your immune system to repair, and your body to function properly.

Digestion is a key factor in health and symptoms such as bloating, wind, reflux, food allergies, autoimmune, weight-gain, skin conditions and other diseases can develop unless corrected. Digestion is vitally important as what we absorb each day in our diet, will affect every cell in our body and affect the way we look and feel.

I suffered multiple allergies when in my early twenties, which were successfully dealt with through nutritional medicine and since then I focused my full attention and career on helping others regain their health. You may be struggling with unidentified allergies, whether they are niggling skin rashes/eruptions/diagnosed conditions, weight-gain, bloating after meals, hormonal imbalances, trying to conceive or other symptoms of illness that you find are impairing your life.  Whatever it is, my expertise can help you find and address the cause.

With a passion about nutritional medicine, each new case I see I approach with real enthusiasm and a dedication to do all I possibly can to help you on every level. The application of nutrition science - an evidence-based approach maximising your health potential through individually formulated nutritional and lifestyle changes, healthy blood sugar balance, emotional and psychological well-being and optimum gastrointestinal health.

TESTIMONIALS:

'I came to see Ann. After testing me on various foods, and finding some sensitivities, she advised keeping off these foods for a month.  She also gave me a diet to follow and supplements to address these symptoms which were triggered by some of the foods in my diet. I now feel a different person!'  S.K. - Surrey

"I feel better now than I've felt in years, and can now eat foods without reactions. I have a full time job as a teacher and live a normal, busy, active life - all of which is down to my change of diet and ultimately to Ann Shaw. Thank you!"   Ms S G - London

"Thank you so much for helping me. The diet that you put me on worked so well, and to my great pleasure, my skin looks better than ever. I am so happy! Thanks once again for your help and advice."                                                                    Ms A H - Middlesex
