Nutritional Therapist Surrey – Gut&Skin Health Specialist

About me

Registered Nutritional Therapist

Surbiton | Esher | Surrey | Wimbledon | Onlin

I’m Ann Shaw, an experienced Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in digestive and gut health, hormonal balance, skin conditions, allergies and autoimmune concerns. I support clients in Surbiton, Esher, Surrey, Wimbledon and London, as well as through telephone and online nutritional therapy consultations worldwide.

If you are struggling with bloating and digestive health or allergies and your health issues have not been resolved, this is where we take a different approach. My approach focuses on identifying the root causes of your symptoms and creating a personalised plan that works for your body and your lifestyle.

I specialise in identifying the underlying causes of digestive and immune-related symptoms, helping you restore your health naturally. For decades I have helped people overcome their health problems and my clients tell me they feel at ease in our consultations and my empathetic nature. I love every minute of my work, helping people of all age groups suffering with their health, from ‘simple’ allergies to more complex, apparently incurable diseases.

WHAT I HELP WITH

Painful bloating, gut & bowel health, reflux
Food intolerances and allergies
Hormonal imbalances (PMS, thyroid issues, change of life/flushes)
Skin conditions/chronic
Weight loss/overweight
Fertility challenges and recurrent miscarriages
Fatigue, low mood and autoimmune conditions
Respiratory Conditions

Many of the health issues people struggle with such as bloating, reflux, fatigue, skin conditions, weight gain and hormonal imbalance, can be rooted in impaired digestion and an imbalanced gut microbiome.

My Story

In my early 20s, I struggled with multiple allergies that significantly affected my quality of life, at a time when these issues were rarely recognised. I discovered that many of my symptoms were triggered by every-day foods.

With few clear answers, I began studying nutrition and health independently. When I experienced first-hand the transformative power of nutritional medicine, I went on to study Nutritional Medicine at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London and qualify as a Nutritional Therapist. I have a special interest and extensive experience in allergies and food intolerances, especially where weight-gain, skin, hormones and gut health are concerned. Restoring my own health inspired a deep commitment to helping others do the same.

TESTIMONIALS:

'I came to see Ann. After testing me on various foods, and finding some sensitivities, she advised keeping off these foods for a month.  She also gave me a diet to follow and supplements to address these symptoms which were triggered by some of the foods in my diet. I now feel a different person!'  S.K. - Surrey

"I feel better now than I've felt in years, and can now eat foods without reactions. I have a full time job as a teacher and live a normal, busy, active life - all of which is down to my change of diet and ultimately to Ann Shaw. Thank you!"   Ms S G - London

"Thank you so much for helping me. The diet that you put me on worked so well, and to my great pleasure, my skin looks better than ever. I am so happy! Thanks once again for your help and advice."                                                                    Ms A H - Middlesex
