Angela Loftus, BSc (Hons), DipION, mBANT, CNHC
The Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic
Old Chorleywood Road
My name is Angela Loftus and I am a fully qualified and Registered Nutritional Therapist working in Rickmansworth and Chorleywood.
I graduated after 3 years from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy and I also have a Psychology degree, and an Introduction to Counselling certificate which together enables me to develop an easy rapport with people of all ages and to provide friendly and practical nutrition advice.
I have experienced with clients, friends and family (I have four children) that small dietary and lifestyle changes can lead to big changes in health and wellness and that by making informed choices we can make a difference to our health and wellbeing and live life the way we want to!
At Nutrition4Change you will also find I have a natural empathy towards individuals' emotional wellbeing, combined with a passion for healthy food.
How does it work?
I will help you achieve your health goal with practical and sustainable health plans and provide support and encouragement throughout. I will give you up to date science based information so that you know where to start in this sometimes baffling world of healthy eating advice whether that be for weight loss, blood sugar management, improved digestion or just simply to optimise your health and wellbeing.
I frequently use functional testing to optimise your nutritional status by understand exactly what your individual imbalances or nutrient deficiencies are and why optimal health may be eluding you. Tests include
Female Hormone Checks (supporting women's different life stages)
Stool Analysis for Gut related problems
Thyroid and Adrenal (stress) levels

LatestTestimonial from signed off client ( January 2017)
" I initially consulted Angela to help with my general wellbeing as I had been diagnosed with stress and low mood and I also had weight concerns.
Angela was very personable. professional and easy to talk to. I felt she really cared and totally understood my health concerns and her dietary recommendations were clearly explained and realistic.
She motivated and encouraged to look at other areas of my life which would advance my wellbeing and made sensible recommendations for weight management including exercise regimes which I have adopted.
All in all Angela was a rare find, I would have no hesitation in consulting her again and I would recommend her without reservation"
