Hi, I'm Catia and welcome to Mindmoodpsychonutrition

I'm a Psychologist and Therapist registered with the British Psychology Society and a BANT/CNHC Nutritional Therapist.

I'm a person-centred and integrative practitioner, focusing on helping you to build self-compassion, self-understanding, self-empowerment and inner transformation, through a variety of techniques and strategies aligned with what you want and how you would like to feel and become. With me, you will be encouraged you to build new life stories, narratives, choices, habits and behaviours that will not only optimise your physical and mental health but boost your inner happiness and resilience.

I offer one-to-one personalised and person-centred sessions, focusing and addressing low moods, stress, sleep, fatigue and burnout, weight management, mindful and disordered eating, self-esteem, addiction issues, metabolic conditions (e.g. thyroid issues), gut  and brain health.

I specialised in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy at CNM College London to enrich my work with clients and combine my passions: Psychology and Nutrition.

I have worked in the private and voluntary sector for the last 13 years delivering one-to-one and group therapy, counselling and psychosocial support to people with enduring mental health issues, entrenched substance use and history of homelessness, abuse and offending behaviour.

I'm also a health and wellbeing trainer and content creator working in partnership with different organisations and companies such as a Ardere, BGPS, Empauwer, Superwellness and Respeito. I have published articles in health and wellbeing magazines such as Saga and Naturopathy Magazine and in 2022 I have also published my own ebook called the "The little book of Nutrition, Mindset and Lifestyle".

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including massage, aromatherapy and nutrition.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

BANT
British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT)

The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists.

There are different BANT membership classes, including Full Member, Fellow Member and Student Member.

All BANT practitioners must have met the required standards of training, be fully insured and adhere to the BANT Code of Ethics and Practice.

Nutritional Therapy Packages: prices ranging from £400 (Initial package) and £700(3-month package)

Metabolic Balance Nutritional Programme:  3 month (£1450) and 6-month (£2050) - indicated for people aiming for weight loss or gain or a metabolic reset

Nutritional MOT: £80

Personalised one-to-one food shopping: £50 (up to 120 minutes)

One-to-one Therapy session or Nutritional Psychology session: £90 face to face/£75 online (up to 50 minutes) - indicated with people experiencing difficulties with their body-image and relationship with food, body dysmorphia, disordered eating and recovering from an eating disorder
