About me

I'm Catia, a qualified Psychologist and Nutritional Therapist and the person behind Mindmoodpsychonutrition - integrated nutritional therapy & psychosocial support for positive emotional and physical wellbeing.

I have always been passionate about supporting people to lead fulfilling and happier lives. I offer integrated mind, nutritional and lifestyle support for people who want to achieve positive and optimal emotional and physical wellbeing. I work holistically, incorporating the principles of buddhism, humanistic psychology, trauma informed psychotherapy, compassionate focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and naturopathic nutritional therapy and functional medicine.

I offer tailored and person-centred face-to-face/online one-to-one consultations, corporate wellness, consultancy services, public speaking and health & wellness coaching. It’s my mission to empower you to take control of your own health and help you bringing your body and mind back into balance so you can reach your full potential and optimal health.

Training, qualifications & experience

I specialised in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy at CNM College London to enrich my work with clients and combine my passions: Psychology and Nutrition.

I have worked in the statutory and voluntary sector for the last 10 years delivering one-to-one and group therapy, counselling and psychosocial support to people with enduring mental health issues, entrenched substance use and history of homelessness, abuse and offending behaviour.

Previous experience:

Head of Mind Psychology Department/Nutritional Therapist at Health Optimising London, UK's leading naturopathic clinic. Voice Analysis recognition pattern & Eductor Biofeedback Practitioner at Health Optimising London, UK's leading naturopathic clinic.

Therapist, outreach worker and dual diagnosis/substance misuse worker within the statutory and voluntary sector including Community Housing & Therapy,  the National Fund Fulfilling Lives Programme, HMP Pentonville and Terrence Higgins Trust

British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy

The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists.

There are different BANT membership classes, including Full Member, Fellow Member and Student Member.

All BANT practitioners must have met the required standards of training, be fully insured and adhere to the BANT Code of Ethics and Practice.


Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including massage, aromatherapy and nutrition.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs.
