About me

I am a registered Nutritional Therapist, supporting my clients with complex chronic health conditions.

I take a holistic and natural approach to healthcare. A functional approach to nutrition focuses on achieving optimal health and wellness. This approach puts the person at the centre, recognising and treating the body as a whole whilst identifying the root causes and drivers of chronic disease.

As a registered BANT Practitioner I am able to assess and identify potential nutrient imbalances, burdens on the body and underlying root causes and understand how they are contributing to your symptoms or chronic illness. I consider you to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a 'one size fits all' approach.

I offer Functional Testing targeting the root causes not just your symptoms. Testing removes the guesswork and can uncover parts of the body in most need of support and enables a personalised plan tailored to your needs.

I am a certified Lifecode Gx Practitioner and offer Nutrigenomic testing and analysis. Nutrigenomics is looking at how nutrients effect the expression of our genes. Our genes can impact on our health and wellbeing. Genetic testing is used to find out whether a person is carrying a specific genetic variance that may cause or increase the risk of developing a particular condition.  Diet and other lifestyle factors can often compensate for the risk indicated by the genetic variant. I offer DNA testing and analysis on methylation, detoxification and the nervous system which are important when managing a chronic health condition.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
