About me

I am an experienced and highly skilled Nutritional Therapist, Life Coach and Health Coach, with expertise in supporting people with various health and gut issues and providing them with effective solutions. I have been a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist since 2021 and I became a Health Coach in 2022. I work with healthcare professionals through my Nutrition for Nurses website and I am a nutritional therapy general practitioner at Melody Gold Nutrition.

I specialise in a number of conditions, including Food allergy and food intolerance, Reflux (GERD), Gastritis, Microbiome imbalances, multiple food reactions, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease.

You may be feeling worried about your health, have unexplained symptoms or looking to improve your overall health and wellness. So, I offer a complimentary call to discuss how I can help.

I hold a degree in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutritional Science and Practice and have a long-standing interest in digestive conditions. By incorporating nutritional therapy and health coaching, I have successfully helped many people to not only feel better but to understand their body and what it needs.

I use a functional medicine model to look for the root cause of the disease in the whole body and provide each patient with a personalised plan designed to support them to redress their issues and help them return to their best. I understand that a patient's symptoms are very likely to be interrelated, often with a common cause. Functional medicine and nutrition are uniquely placed to work directly on the root cause of disease.

I love the feeling of having helped clients. If you cannot eat, digest, absorb, detoxify and eliminate properly then good health is often out of reach. This is why I work with most patients’ gut first and then, once the function is optimal, I focus on addressing any residual symptoms. Often other indications of disease disappear, as the body is able to correct the root cause. When the body receives optimal nutrients, it can remedy itself more effectively.

If you were to visit my links, we can arrange our first appointment to start you on your unique nutritional programmes which includes:

60-minute intensive comprehensive health review and assessment (including medical background, hereditary profile, drug-nutrient interactions, etc.)
Recommendations for laboratory tests
Action points that you can start implementing immediately
Tailored feedback & recommendations
Liaising with your GP with your permission
Personalised dietary, supplement, and lifestyle advice
Recipes (including cookery book recommendations) and handouts
Follow-up consultations (also available by video)

Clients have successfully used their private medical insurance to work with me in the past, I find that Westfield Health, Health Shield and Elect recognise CNHC and BANT members but there may be more so please check with your health insurer.
