About me

I’m an award winning, Registered Associate Nutritionist working with women (although, I do work with men too!) to empower healthier food choices without restriction – and I can't wait to support you!

Having healed a previously poor relationship with food and overcome the confusion of nutrition misinformation, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to make diet and lifestyle changes. I also know first-hand the power that healing your relationship with food, and overcoming nutrition misinformation, can have on both emotional and physical wellbeing.

Supporting healthier lifestyles
I’ve supported lots of women to feel good from the inside out, allowing them to take back control of their health and thrive as they reach their goals

My passion for evidence-based science paired with my down to earth nature, allows me to offer personalised, realistic and practical advice and support that you’ll genuinely follow for life. Not only this, but your emotional wellbeing comes front and centre in our work together, meaning you’ll never be made to do something you don’t want to.  Plus, you’ll only ever receive personalised advice. After all, no two people are the same.

Why work with me?
Let me give you a helping hand on your journey to improving your health and wellbeing or reaching your goals. I know that you can do it!

Don’t struggle in silence any longer. It’s time to put yourself first so you can be the best version of you and achieve whatever you set your sights on.

In particular, I’m able to offer you:

  • Evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle guidance
  • Personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to meet your specific long-term needs and goals
  • A holistic approach to health and wellbeing, which looks at your entire lifestyle
  • Ongoing support, motivation and accountability to keep you driven
  • Regular contact inbetween appointments
  • A collaborative approach, meaning your needs, wants and thoughts are a priority
  • A restriction free aproach, so you can still enjoy your favourite foods

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Further information

What Does Working with Me Look Like?

I work with clients both online and in person.

We’ll start with a free 15 minute discovery session, online or over the phone. You can book your discovery session here: https://calendly.com/lucyjonesnutrition/free-nutrition-discovery-session?back=1&month=2023-09

During your discovery session, you’ll be able to tell me why you want help and I’ll discuss how I can support you. Use this time to ask any questions you have about working with a nutritionist.

If you decide that you’d like to work together, you’ll receive the following to complete before your initial appointment:

  • A lifestyle questionnaire
  • A food diary
  • A digestive symptom diary (if appropriate)

Your initial appointment will be 60 minutes. I’ll start by gaining a more in depth understanding of the reason that you’re working with me. From this, we’ll set realistic and achievable goals and collaboratively create a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan that you’re comfortable with. This will include advice on nutritional supplements if necessary.

You will be emailed your nutrition plan in the days following your appointment. There are no expectations for you to make notes during your appointment.

If you choose to book a package (which we can discuss in your discovery session) you will also access messaging support in between appointments. This has proven useful at offering motivation and accountability, and often those who make the most of it succeed the best.

Your first (or only, if you only booked one) follow up appointment will be booked based on your needs, but usually this is after 4 weeks. During this appointment, we’ll reflect on your progress and make any necessary changes to your plan.

Depending on the number of appointments booked, subsequent follow up appointments are arranged to meet your needs. This can range from weekly, fortnightly, monthly or otherwise specified.

What If I Need Further or Additional Support?

Regardless of the number of appointments you booked originally, you will always be welcome to book more appointments if you require them.

During your appointment, I may suggest seeking support and guidance from other experts, such as therapists or personal trainers. I am able to offer recommendations of experts but you will be required to pay any fees involved with working with this expert.
