Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition.

I am on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), where I am a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) (Public Health) under the Association for Nutrition (AfN).

My entire career has been spent working within the menopause field, including:

  • Supporting women experiencing perimenopause/menopause in my 1-1 clinic
  • As a Nutritionist for Harley Street at Home Menopause
  • As a Nutritionist for Harley Street clinic, Hormone Health
  • Co-author of Women's Health Concern nutrition and exercise in menopause factsheets
  • Guest speaker at talks and events about menopause, including for Wellbeing of Women
  • Delivered CPD webinars about menopause to other Nutritionists, Dietitians and Doctors

I have won the awards for Freelance Nutritionist of the Year 2023, and Most Supportive Nutritionist 2025 from Nutrition Graduates.

In addition to my nutrition expertise, I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Spin Instructor.

What Does Working with Me Look Like?

I work with clients both online and in person. 

We’ll start with a free 15 minute discovery appointment, online or over the phone. You can book your discovery session here: https://calendly.com/lucyjonesnutrition/free-nutrition-discovery-session?back=1&month=2023-09 

During your discovery appointment, you’ll be able to tell me why you want help and I’ll discuss how I can support you. Use this time to ask any questions you have about working with a nutritionist. 

If you decide that you’d like to work together, you’ll receive the following to complete before your initial appointment:

  • A lifestyle questionnaire
  • A food diary

Your initial appointment will be 60 minutes. We'll start by gaining a more in depth understanding of your lifestyle and health history. From this, we’ll set realistic and achievable goals and collaboratively create a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan that you’re happy with, to help you fit comfortably and confidently back into your clothes.

You will be emailed your nutrition plan in the days following your appointment. There are no expectations for you to make notes during your appointment.

You will receive check in messages inbetween your appointments, and you'll be able to send messages or questions as and when you need to... I really am available on speed dial!

In your 30 minute follow up appointments, we'll reflect on your progress, and agree on next steps to keep you progressing towards your goals.

Do you offer meal plans?

​When working together, you will be empowered to be able to make healthy decisions for your needs and goals. As a result, I do not offer meal plans as I believe these are restrictive, and prevent you from freely saying “yes!” to last minute dinner opportunities when your friend asks if you want to go out together. Imagine if you were following a meal plan, and your friend asks you to go out for a spontaneous dinner date - how much fear would you feel for going “off plan’? Instead, let’s skip the fear, and work together to teach you how to eat for your needs and goals, no matter where you are… even if you’re eating out!

How many appointments will I need?

​​​Everyone progresses at different paces, which is why I offer my services on a monthly rolling basis. All I ask is that you give our coaching at least 3 months… after all, change takes time!

What If I Need Further or Additional Support?

During your appointment, I may suggest seeking support and guidance from other experts, such as therapists or personal trainers. I am able to offer recommendations of experts but you will be required to pay any fees involved with working with this expert.
