ABOUT KIRSTY WOOD:
I'm a HCPC Registered Dietitian (RD, BSc) passionate about helping people find clarity in the chaos of nutrition advice.

After years of working in the NHS and private practice, I founded Your Health and Lifestyle to provide evidence-based, compassionate nutrition support that actually fits real life. I've seen too many people suffer unnecessarily from restrictive diets, confusing advice, and approaches that ignore the psychological and emotional aspects of eating.

My work is informed by:

  • Specialist training in gut health and low FODMAP protocols (King's College London)
  • Evidence-based intuitive eating approaches
  • Weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size (HAES) principles
  • Ongoing professional development in gut health, fertility nutrition, GLP-1 medications, and disordered eating support

I live on the Isle of Wight with my partner and toddler.  When I'm not supporting clients, you'll find me at my local coffee shop enjoying a maple and pecan plait, networking with other local business owners, or trying out new recipes.
