About me
As you are here reading this, it is my belief that you are either wanting to improve your own mental and physical health, or have an interest in finding out about tools which may be useful for improving your health and wellbeing. Maybe you have struggled with your own health for some time and not got to the root of what is making you feel the way you feel? Perhaps you suffer from brain fog or feel overwhelmed, stressed, down or anxious about what is going on in your life? Perhaps you have a complicated relationship with food and eating and have reached a point where you no longer want to feel controlled by food? Perhaps you even resonate with all of these things combined? I hear you. I have been there myself and this is why I now help others.
My name is Jess, I am a BANT registered Nutritional therapist and nutritionist®, eating disorder practitioner and health coach, and my goal is to help people support their mental and physical health to be able to live healthier and happier lives.
In my work I combine the latest nutrition science, nutritional psychology with functional medicine and lifestyle and coaching tools. Having trained at degree level in both nutritional therapy as well as psychology, my mission now is to help bridge the gap between mental and physical health and wellbeing and help support people make gradual and sustainable changes. My clinical specialisms are brain and mental health, gut health and disordered eating. My approach is personalised, evidence-based, holistic, inclusive and non-judgemental and my aim is to create an environment where people feel heard, seen, supported and safe to be themselves. There are so many aspects of one's life which need to be looked at in order to feel well and nutrition is of course a key part but by far the only one and with my compassionate, holistic approach, my goal is to support individuals to make positive changes towards a healthier and happier life.
If you feel ready to take the step towards prioritising your own health and wellbeing, then I would love to work with you.
