About me

I’m Jessica Fonteneau, a Registered Nutritional Therapist who helps people understand what their skin is really telling them. I specialise in reactive and sensitive skin, food allergy and food intolerance, histamine imbalance and other skin concerns that can affect both confidence and quality of life.

In my 1:1 clinic I work with infants, pre school children, school aged children, teenagers and adults, helping each person uncover the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms. Through detailed assessment, practical dietary guidance and, when appropriate, functional testing such as stool or nutrigenomic analysis, I create tailored recommendations that fit naturally into everyday life. My focus is always on realistic, sustainable change, helping you understand your body rather than simply manage symptoms.

Over my many years in practice, I began to see clear patterns emerging. No matter the age or background, the same key factors including gut health, nutrient balance and stress response were often linked to reactive and unsettled skin. These insights led me to develop, a series of educational programmes created specifically for adults who want to calm their skin, reduce flare ups and understand the underlying patterns that keep them stuck.

My work brings together clinical evidence, experience and a practical understanding of what it takes to make change last. Having experienced my own skin and digestive challenges since childhood, I understand how difficult unpredictable flare ups can be. My role is to bring clarity, confidence and achievable steps to help you or your child work towards lasting skin comfort and overall wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been in clinical practice since 2014, supporting individuals, families and groups both in person and online. I hold a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (DipION) and am registered with the CNHC and BANT. I also hold an MSc in Transdisciplinary Practice, with my dissertation entitled “Examining how nutrition may be used as a complementary tool for chronic skin health support.”

Across my work, whether through one to one consultations for all ages or the adult focused Escape the Eczema Trap®programmes, I have helped many people identify triggers, restore balance and rebuild confidence in their skin. My goal is simple, to make nutritional therapy clear, achievable and genuinely life changing.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Additional information

I support clients through one to one consultations and my structured programmes. Both options are designed to help you understand what drives your skin concerns and guide you towards calm, confidence and long-term balance.

My one to one consultations are available in a range of packages depending on the number of sessions and level of support required. Each includes a full review of your health story, exploration of possible triggers and personalised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that fit naturally into daily life. Gut health is often an important focus, as the skin and digestive system are closely linked and can influence each other in many ways.

I also work with infants, pre school and school aged children, supporting families to explore possible nutritional or environmental factors linked to sensitive or reactive skin. Plans are always practical, balanced and realistic for family life.

For adults looking for a more structured approach, my programmes offer an educational and supportive framework to help you understand your skin, identify key drivers and take practical steps towards long-term improvement. These can be completed on their own or alongside one to one consultations for more tailored support.

My approach is evidence based, food focused and designed for real life. The aim is not short-term restriction but lasting change that feels achievable and sustainable.

To find out more about the consultation and programme options and which may suit you best, please book a complimentary discovery call via my website. This no-obligation call is a chance to discuss your goals and decide the most appropriate starting point for your skin health journey.
