About me

A dietitian with over 2 decades within the NHS.

I have worked with a diverse range of clients in adult health, latterly specialising in older adults, rehabilitation, chronic disease and neurological conditions within the community in Glasgow at band 7 level.  This gave me an indepth understanding of the challenges that older adults and their loved ones have in navigating health issues and the day to day challenges faced.  I have worked along side homecarers, developing and delivering training to them and also contributed to policy affecting older adults and Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.

Older adults have specific nutritional needs, differing from younger adults due to physiological changes and health conditions which is why choosing a Dietitian with experience in older adults is important in managing your care of that of a loved one.

Together, we create a personalised plan that aligns with your unique goals, combining current evidence, guidelines and my extensive experience.

Conditions I can help you with are:

Gastrointestinal diseases including constipation, diarrhoea & Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Pre-diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes

Malnutrition & Unintentional weight loss

Recovery after illness

Heart Health - high cholesterol, high blood pressure

Bone Health
