About me

Hello, I’m Clare, a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and I specialise in helping women conquer their health challenges, reclaim vitality and wave goodbye to ongoing health concerns and perimenopausal symptoms.

  • Are you struggling with your changing body shape, constant hunger and cravings?
  • What used to work no longer does.
  • Are digestive symptoms getting in the way of every day life? do you feel bloated or scared to leave the house some days?
  • Do you experience mood swings, feel tearful and have difficulty concentrating?
  • Are you tired of feeling tired and long for a decent night's sleep?
  • Do hot flushes, brain fog or irregular periods hold you back from living the life you want to lead?
  • Perhaps you’re feeling drained, finding life overwhelming and not feeling like your old self?

Using personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies my clients learn how to balance their hormones, lose weight healthily, manage stress, boost energy levels, reduce digestive symptoms and achieve a restful night’s sleep. All recommendations are evidence-based and tailored to each client’s unique challenges and goals. By addressing the emotional aspects of behaviour change I assist clients in forming lifelong habits for lasting improvements to health and wellbeing.

As a woman in my 50s I understand how frustrating this life stage can be and how difficult it is navigating change alone. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and empowering women, supporting their individual symptoms and stories.

I invite you to book a FREE 30-minute Discovery Consultation to discuss your health concerns and goals, exploring how I can support you, working together to pursue the life you want to live using the link below: https://calendly.com/clarebellininutrition/discovery-call

HOW I WORK

My practice usually runs online, enabling me to support clients nationwide, although I’m based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. I can make arrangements to see clients in person for their first appointment.

I offer 3 programmes lasting between 4 and 12 weeks, meeting weekly or bi-weekly which has proven to be more effective in facilitating successful changes. All programmes start with an initial consultation and are followed by a number of check-in appointments.

Your initial consultation will last between 75 – 90 mins. I will ask you to complete and return a detailed health questionnaire and 3-day food diary prior to this meeting, allowing me to research your case. During the consultation we will go through your questionnaire, discuss your medical history and family background, I will explain how your diet and lifestyle choices may be influencing your symptoms and overall health.

We will make a Health and Wellness Vision detailing the goals you wish to achieve, exploring challenges and obstacles before making a personalised plan which may include supplements and testing, if considered necessary.

Frequent check-ins enable you to take small, manageable steps that accumulate into significant results without feeling overwhelmed. Regular meetings allow me closely track your progress, address any concerns that may arise, and provide you with the necessary accountability.

I also offer individual consultations and check-ins if required.

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied Nutritional Therapy for 4 years at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition where I graduated with a Distinction. I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) a UK voluntary register of health practitioners, set up with government support to protect the public, allowing them to choose appropriately qualified, trained and insured practitioners.

I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists. BANT members are trained to work in a 1:1 clinical setting, required to be educated to a high standard and must keep up to date with the latest scientific developments. I also have a Practitioner Membership offering Pharmacology support so you can be confident that I am educated on medication and supplement interaction.

I offer evidence-based nutrition advice, tailoring dietary and lifestyle recommendations to each individual’s unique dietary preferences, goals and health history. I use the Functional Medicine Model to assess a client’s health, taking into account their diet, lifestyle, family history and health journey. I offer guidance to improve health, lower risk of disease and provide support for chronic conditions. I also have experience supporting those with Menopause and Menopausal symptoms.

However, Nutritional Therapy is not a substitute for medical advice, clients presenting with symptoms indicating a serious health issue will always be referred to their doctor for further evaluation.
