About me

Tired of navigating gut issues, fatigue, hormonal shifts, autoimmunity, or a complicated relationship with food or weight?

I can help you get to the root of what’s going on - from digestive symptoms and hormone imbalances to skin flare-ups, autoimmunity, and food or weight struggles, using tailored nutrition and functional testing.

Hello, I’m Clare, a Registered Nutritional Therapist and I help people who've hit dead ends with standard approaches. If you're dealing with chronic digestive symptoms, autoimmune disease, weight management, disordered eating or unexplained fatigue I’ll help you find clarity, calm your system, and feel like you again.

I Support Clients Struggling With:

  • Persistent bloating, food sensitivities, reflux or diarrhea
  • Fatigue, brain fog and poor sleep
  • Perimenopause, endo/adenomyosis and P.C.O.S.
  • Weight Loss, blood sugar imbalances and sugar cravings
  • Chronic skin conditions and flare-ups
  • Autoimmune and thyroid conditions
  • Cardiovascular concerns and irregular blood test results
  • Disordered eating, restriction and unhelpful eating behaviour

What Makes Me Different:

  • I focus on uncovering and addressing what’s really driving your symptoms – not just covering them up.
  • Pace-sensitive and judgement-free – I go at your speed, with full support every step of the way.
  • Trained in pharmacology – So I can work safely alongside your medications.
  • Health coaching – I don’t just hand you a plan; I help you follow through and make it work for your life.
  • Neuro-affirmative – I’m trained to work with neurodivergent clients and understand how things like food, routines and health habits can feel different when your brain works differently. Everything I do is adapted to suit you.
  • Compassionate – I have undertaken additional training to understand the psychology behind disordered eating and eating behaviours.  I offer a supportive space to explore what’s driving your relationship with food.

How I Work

My practice usually runs online, enabling me to support clients nationwide, although I’m based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire and Northwich, Cheshire. I can make arrangements to see clients in person for their first appointment.

I offer 4 packages lasting between 6 weeks and 6 months, generally meeting weekly which has proven to be more effective in facilitating successful changes. All packages start with an initial consultation and are followed by a number of check-in appointments. I integrate health coaching into my practice to provide you with the guidance, support, and accountability needed to implement dietary and lifestyle changes effectively.

Your initial consultation will last 60 mins. I will ask you to complete and return a detailed health questionnaire and food diary prior to this meeting, allowing me to research your case. During the consultation we will go through your questionnaire, discuss your symptoms, medical history and family background. I will explain how your diet and lifestyle are impacting your symptoms and overall health. We will make a personalised plan, exploring challenges and obstacles which may get in the way. I often recommend supplements to address nutrient deficiencies and support the body's natural healing processes, enhancing the effectiveness of your diet and lifestyle interventions. I may suggest functional testing to gain a deeper understanding of your health beyond just your symptoms. These tests provide valuable information about nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, gut symptoms, food sensitivities, and inflammatory levels, allowing for a more targeted, personalised and effective approach to treatment.

During your check-ins, we'll review your progress, discuss any changes in your symptoms or health status, and adjust your nutrition plan as needed. Frequent check-ins enable you to take small, manageable steps that accumulate into significant results without feeling overwhelmed. Regular meetings allow me closely track your progress and provide the necessary guidance, motivation and accountability, ensuring you stay focused and committed to achieving your heath goals.

I also offer individual consultations and check-ins in certain circumstances, although packages provide more effective and sustainable health outcomes for clients.

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied Nutritional Therapy for 4 years at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition where I graduated with a Distinction. I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) a UK voluntary register of health practitioners, set up with government support to protect the public, allowing them to choose appropriately qualified, trained and insured practitioners.

I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists. BANT members are trained to work in a 1:1 clinical setting, required to be educated to a high standard and must keep up to date with the latest scientific developments. I've trained in health coaching with Zest for Life and use effective resources to help clients set realistic goals, develop action plans and overcome barriers to change.

I am an accredited reflux practitioner with Digestion With Confidence. Where Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI) are necessary and essential, I can can offer strategies to support digestion, reduce side effects and reduce nutritional deficiencies. Where the reduction in PPI use is appropriate in line with NICE guidelines, I can work with you and your medical team to support the withdrawal process whilst managing rebound heartburn and ensuring better outcomes.

I also have a Practitioner Membership offering Pharmacology support so you can be confident that I am educated on medication and supplement interaction.

I offer evidence-based nutrition advice, tailoring dietary and lifestyle recommendations to each individual’s unique dietary preferences, goals and health history. I use the Functional Medicine Model to assess a client’s health, taking into account their diet, lifestyle, family history and health journey. I offer guidance to improve health, lower risk of disease and provide support for chronic conditions.

However, Nutritional Therapy is not a substitute for medical advice, clients presenting with symptoms indicating a serious health issue will always be referred to their doctor for further evaluation.
