About me

I’m Sade, an experienced dietitian and nutritionist based in Sheffield and Rotherham.

A bit about me and my journey

My journey as a dietitian started back when I was studying dance at college and I noticed food became a really big focus in every dancers life but not always in a positive way. When choosing my career in later life this sat heavily with me.

I have always loved food since I can remember. I love to cook food (when I have time that is, having 2 children can often mean quick and easy meals) and eat food with my favourite being secondary to a good old roast dinner (with plenty of gravy because I am after all a proper Yorkshire lass) is Japanese food.

Clinical experience

I have a wide range of clinical experience, knowledge and skills in the dietary management of colorectal surgery, including high output stomas, short bowel syndrome, short bowel-colon, strictures and adhesions, IBD (including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), nutritional support (supporting weight gain), oncology, neurology, bariatric surgery, IBS, (including the low FODMAP diet and cardiovascular disease).

Training, qualifications & experience

I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2016 with a Masters in Nutrition.
I have since been working in the NHS as a UK registered dietitian.

With almost 5 years of clinical experience, various study days, including the St Marks intestinal failure course and additional development courses this enables me to support individuals manage medical conditions and achieve their nutritional goals through dietary changes.

I am HCPC registered and a full member of the British Dietetic Association.
As a registered dietitian (the only nutrition experts registered by law) you can be sure that I am providing you with evidence based nutritional advice to help you make safe and informed dietary choices.
