About me

Personalised nutrition for mental health. Are you feeling lost at the moment? Have you been wanting to understand how to work on your moods or stress but have no real idea of how to get started? Does thinking about food stress you out? Do you want to feel more like yourself again?

I’m Rachel, a Registered Nutritional Therapist working in mental health. If you’ve been feeling low for a while, it might be difficult to remember a time when you weren’t struggling. It doesn’t have to be like this. Using my personal experience, further training and clinical expertise, I want to help you get your life back.

My own mental health is what pushed me to learn more about nutrition. I wanted a better understanding of how I could help myself and others with their mental health. It’s one tool of many, but it can give you a huge advantage. My own healing journey is ongoing, but it has progressed further by expanding my emotional toolkit, which involves multiple avenues but includes nutrition as one of its foundations. Now, I want to help others regain an understanding of their mental health needs, feel like themselves again and develop their own toolkits.

Nutritional therapy is about getting to the root of your concerns so we can address why they’re happening and not just the symptoms. I have a specific framework when working with clients:

1. Approaching nutrition from the perspective of self-care as a way to honour your health.

2. Addressing the way you think and feel about food to make dealing with it less stressful and give you satisfaction in your food choices.

3. Help you understand that eating as little as possible is not the way forward to achieving health.

My promise to you: no dieting, no hard-to-follow rules, no restrictions. Only advice that is tailored to your unique needs. I will meet you wherever you’re at, build upon your existing habits and make space for new ones.

The time for struggling is over. If you’re sick of feeling low, stressed or wired, maybe it’s time to try something different. With nutritional therapy programmes designed with you in mind, I want to help you regain control of your mental health. These programmes are for you if:

- You’re over feeling low and you’re ready to take action

- You’ve always seen nutrition from the scope of punishment rather than something you can enjoy

- You want to understand how food and your behaviours can affect your mental health

- You want better cognition, more energy and to bring some joy back into your life

Reaching out for support isn’t easy. It takes courage to ask for help. If you want to find out more about working together, the first step is to book a complementary introduction call at a time that works for you. We’ll talk about your initial concerns, your goals, expectations and if we’ll be a good fit for each other.
