About me

Hello, I'm Norma, I help people to discover their optimal (gut) health through personalised nutrition. I work closely with you to find the root cause to your health concerns and create an effective plan to get your health back on track - 14 years of clinical experience.

I offer a 'holistic approach' that incorporates the whole person, their environment and their circumstances and combine it with the science of the body's biochemistry and disease processes. I believe that many common diseases arise from imbalances in the biochemistry of the body's natural systems, and that in principle, balance can be restored by careful tailoring of the natural substances in the diet.

In many cases the root cause of a health issues lie within the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract). One's diet may be adequate, but improper function of the GI tract can cause an imbalance in other systems and consequent health issues. Such dysfunctions include: incomplete break down of foods, inadequate absorption of nutrients, ineffective removal of waste by-products of metabolism, and hidden food sensitivities.

In other words, not only is good nutrition important, but also on how the body deals with the food it is given.

Heredity, environment and even the influence of the mind itself makes us biochemically unique, so 'rebalancing' the body's systems through diet needs an understanding of the whole person. That's why one-on-one consultation lies at the heart of a successful, personalised plan.
