About me

Do you want to lose weight and/or stabilize your level of energy? Do you have a family history of Cardiovascular or Metabolic disease? Do you want to assess or mitigate your risk factors? Have you been diagnosed with osteopenia?

My primary areas of interest include:

  • Metabolic and Cardiovascular Risk Mitigation: Overweight, Insulin Resistance and Blood Glucose Control, Cholesterol Imbalance
  • Weight Loss and Weight Management
  • Bones Health
  • Stress response and Adrenal Function
  • From Perimenopause to Post
  • Gastro Intestinal Health

I am passionate about health risk mitigation and prevetion, I really want my clients to feel in control of their health.

I have studied with the prestigious Institute for Funcional Medicine (IFM) and I am trained to apply the Functional Medicine Model in clinical practice. This means that I will work in partnership with my clients to uncover all possible factors that play a role in their health (a multisystem approach) with the goal to restore order.

I help my clients with personalised care and science-based support. I want them to feel confident in their nutritional choices and I offer assistance to maximise compliance with any change needed.

Optimising nutrition, changing habits, developing new skills are all part of the restoring process and I give them the tools to stay on track.

Send me a message or an email to arrange a free explorative call to understand how I can help or, if you prefer, call me.

Training, qualifications & experience

Diploma of Nutritional Therapist - College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM)

AFMCP Certificate - The Institute for Funcional Medicine  (IFM)

Being trained to apply the functional medicine model means that I will use a system-oriented approach with my clients leveraging on a therapeutic partnership with them. The goal is to address the underlying causes of a condition and restore health and wellbeing.

DNALIFE Certification - Accredited Practitioner

As a nutritional therapist passionate about prevention and risk mitigation specific DNA tests offer invaluable support for clients that are interested in going deeper. Understanding gene variations is a great tool that provides insight to identify genetic vulnerabilities and offers guidance to improve or mitigate these weaknesses using targeted diet, lifestyle and nutraceutical interventions.

Member of:

MEMBER of BANT (British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine), IFM (The Institute for Functional Medicine), ANP (Association of Naturopathic Practitioners), CNHN (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I also have a degree in Economics and Business Administration (B.Sc.) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

This is what one of my clients wanted to share about me:

“For over a decade I had been experiencing seemingly trivial and unrelated health niggles, poor sleep, uncontrollable mood swings and weight gain, however it was only when after months of waking up exhausted, anxious and in severe pain I was recommended to speak with Antonia. Whilst the recommendation was initially made on the basis that as a nutritionist Antonia may be able to assist me with controlling my weight, what Antonia was actually able to offer and help me with, went beyond this.

Antonia listened intently to my medical history and delicately enquired about my general wellbeing as well as lifestyle habits. Through this process, Antonia identified inflammation as my primary and underlying issue and explained that in prioritising this, it would yield benefits across other areas of concern. Antonia prepared a customised plan that included recommended dietary changes, supplements and exercises to improve my overall wellbeing and was open about the fact that this was not a "quick fix" but continued and sustained improvements would require a lifestyle change.

Whilst inspired by Antonia’s holistic approach and highly personalised plan, I was amazed at how quickly I noticed significant improvements. Soon after implementing the dietary guidelines, the daily aches and pains began to disappear, my mood lifted and gradually, despite the apparent calorific (yet nutritionally dense) content of the suggested foods, to my surprise, I lost weight. Throughout the process, Antonia has gently coached me in improving my eating, sleeping and daily habits, supporting me whenever I struggled and equipping me with the appropriate tools to manage my general wellbeing, whether physical, mental or emotional, with results far exceeding my expectations. I now not only feel better, stronger and more confident but informed and empowered.

Antonia has a genuine interest and natural ability in helping others, identifying the root cause of issues whether physical, mental or emotional and addressing them in a manner designed around the individual and at their pace, continuously and gently supporting the individual by proposing alternative solutions to improve their overall wellbeing and ultimately giving them back control.

I cannot recommend Antonia more highly."
