About me

Hi there, my name is Annabel and I am an HCPC Registered Dietitian with 19 years' experience, supporting clients both within the NHS and privately. I would be delighted to support you too.

Have you had a recent diagnosis of chronic kidney disease and feeling overwhelmed after disappearing down internet rabbit holes? I have worked in specialist kidney units for over 10 years and have some handy blogs on the Kidney Confidence page of my website.

Or, would you like to feel more in control of your diabetes or pre-diabetes. It's never too late and small changes can achieve big benefits. If you have a Freestyle Libre, let's make the best use of all that wonderful information to fine tune your blood glucose control.

Perhaps, it's time to get on top of that longstanding IBS or you simply feel in a rut with your diet and lifestyle, having focussed on everyone else but you for years. Maybe menopause is taking hold, to add insult to injury.

I am trained in behaviour change techniques and recently qualified as an Advanced Practitioner in Functional Imagery Training. What on earth is that? Well, it's an approach developed by researchers at the University of Plymouth and has been proven to support lasting diet and lifestyle changes.  Essentially it is a coaching approach that uses all the senses and one that, once mastered, you can use yourself for the rest of your life.  I realise this won't be for everyone but if you're intrigued, why not give me a call to find out more.

Just to give you an idea of my clinical experience, I have worked in leading teaching hospitals including Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital the Royal Sussex County Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, alongside a private practice.

Let's have a free chat about how I can help you achieve your health goals. Please do get in touch.
