About me
Hi there, I am a Registered Dietitian with 20 years' experience supporting clients with chronic kidney disease, diabetes and those navigating the menopausal transition.
Have you had a recent diagnosis of chronic kidney disease and feeling overwhelmed after disappearing down internet rabbit holes? I have worked in specialist kidney units for over 10 years and have some handy blogs on the Kidney Confidence page of my website.
Or, would you like to feel more in control of your diabetes or pre-diabetes. It's never too late and small changes can achieve big benefits. If you have a Freestyle Libre, let's make the best use of all that wonderful information to fine tune your blood glucose control.
Perhaps, the menopause is creeping up on you and it's time to focus on your health after years of looking after others. Let's look at optimising your diet and lifestyle to help manage side effects of the hormonal changes and launch you into the next stage of life with energy, healthy bones and strong muscles.
And, what about that never-ending list of menopause supplements that are suddenly in your social media feed? I'm here to answer your questions.
My aim is to give you the tools to make informed decisions about your health.
I won't try to blind you with science, send you for unnecessary tests nor sell you expensive pills and potions.
I am a member of the British Dietetic Association Kidney, Diabetes and Women's Health Specialist Groups.
To give you a taste of my NHS experience, I have worked at Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals.
I also absolutely love facilitating workshops for final year medical students. These take place in a professional catering college in London. We encourage the students to take a holistic approach to their patient's care and we even get them cooking.
Let's have a free chat about how I can help you achieve your health goals. Please do get in touch.
