About me

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach and one of the founding practitioners at True Food Nutrition.

When we are busy, we don't always recognise that those feelings of "why am I so tired?" or "I wish I could just eat and not feel so uncomfortable all of the time" have been going on for way too long!

My clinic supports those who, just like you, are facing the challenges of our every day lives - struggling to manage weight, fatigue and a constant lack of energy, lack of sleep, stress and issues with gut health and food sensitivities, all of which can be an indication of hormone imbalance

"Amanda is just amazing. She has a wealth of information and things to try to help with my symptoms. After an hour with Amanda, I no longer felt like a crazy lady."

Effective and tailor-made programmes

All of my programmes, from The Power Hour to a bespoke nutrition & lifestyle programme, will support you to create healthy, lifelong habits without missing out on enjoying food and drink with family and friends. This approach allows you to navigate your symptoms comfortably while being supported every step of the way.

I would like to invite you to book a complementary call which will give you the opportunity to talk to me about your health concerns and challenges, and discover how working together can support you in overcoming these.

"Amanda has found the perfect balance of clear expertise and depth of knowledge alongside caring and considerate delivery.  The time spent with Amanda has benefited my health, general wellbeing and happiness hugely."

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and graduated with Distinction.

My practice at True Food Nutrition offers a range of ways in which I work with my clients and I am able to offer both in-clinic and online consultations.  A unique blend of nutrition expertise with a health coaching approach is designed to allow you to achieve the best results.

A part of my work that I particularly enjoy is giving talks and workshops for various local and national groups and organisations.  I have collaborated with a chain of sports stores to give talks on nutrition and lifestyle to their customers and staff and I am actively involved in supporting a local menopause group.

I am fully insured and a member of  the professional body, the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC), the UK regulatory body for complementary health care practitioners.

Having spent a lifetime around food (my parents are both chefs), I strongly believe that good food and nutrition does have the power to restore health and quality of life. It was this belief that led me to using nutrition to support my own health struggles and ultimately, to train as a Nutritional Therapist, and it is this food-first ethos that is central to my practice.

Further information

"I met Amanda when I was undergoing quite a stressful time at work and had slipped into some bad eating habits. I felt exhausted, burnt out and had quite low mood and poor memory.   Amanda unpicked my eating patterns and quickly determined the nutritional deficiencies my diet had created. By providing easy and quick recipes and clever ideas to incorporate the nutrients I lacked, Amanda supported a long-term beneficial change. I can now say that after several months I am finally beginning to feel like a younger and more energetic version of myself again!"
