About me

My clients eat well and feel better.

They are more resilient, energetic and able to deal with the stressful challenges of their every day lives.  They eat more comfortably and with enjoyment and sleep peacefully, waking ready to start their day.

"Amanda's consultation and advice on nutrition has been life changing for me. All my health issues have been addressed and I have seen improvements in all areas. I understand the importance of nourishing food, how it can be a joy and I have new habits that will last me a lifetime." SH

I am a Registered Nutritionist and one of the founding practitioners at True Food Nutrition where my clinic focuses on hormone health and metabolic health.  I create healthy, sustainable habits that fit easily into your life, without missing out on enjoying food and drink with family and friends.  This approach allows you to navigate your symptoms comfortably while being supported every step of the way

Please get in touch to arrange a complimentary call where we can talk about your concerns and how I can support you to eat well and feel better.

"Amanda has found the perfect balance of clear expertise and depth of knowledge alongside caring and considerate delivery.  The time spent with Amanda has benefited my health, general wellbeing and happiness hugely."

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and graduated with Distinction.

I have also obtained my post-graduate qualification in nutrition for cancer, allowing me to support my clients before, during and after their treatment.

I am an accredited reflux practitioner and I have additional training to work with those taking PPIs.

I am trained in various types of functional testing including nutrigenomics, hormone, stool and blood testing.

In addition to my clinical practice, I give talks and workshops for various local and national groups and organisations.  I collaborate with a chain of sports stores to give talks on nutrition and lifestyle to their customers and staff and I am actively involved in supporting local menopause groups.

I am fully insured and a member of  the professional body, the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC), the UK regulatory body for complementary health care practitioners.  I am also a member of the British Society of Integrative Oncology.

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Further information

"I met Amanda when I was undergoing quite a stressful time at work and had slipped into some bad eating habits. I felt exhausted, burnt out and had quite low mood and poor memory.   Amanda unpicked my eating patterns and quickly determined the nutritional deficiencies my diet had created. By providing easy and quick recipes and clever ideas to incorporate the nutrients I lacked, Amanda supported a long-term beneficial change. I can now say that after several months I am finally beginning to feel like a younger and more energetic version of myself again!"
