About me

Many of the women I work with come to me feeling frustrated, stuck and confused.

They've tried to improve their diet, followed advice online and been told their test results are "normal", yet they are still dealing with weight changes, low energy, digestive discomfort and the feeling that something isn't right.  Their body suddenly feels unpredictable, and what once worked no longer does.

If that sounds familiar, you're not alone, and there is a way to make sense of what's going on.

My role is to help you understand what's driving your symptoms and give you a clear, practical plan to move forward.  We will explore how different aspects of your health connect, so we can identify what's really going on and what will actually make a difference for you.

"I cannot thank you enough. Just understanding more about my health condition and being able to eat foods I thought I had to avoid has been a game changer for me, and given me a new zest for life."  LN

Midlife Health & Nutrition Assessment (90 minutes) - £125

If you've tried different approaches and still don't feel like yourself, this is where we start.

This is a comprehensive consultation where we explore your symptoms, health history and current diet in detail.

You'll leave with:

  • A clear understanding of what may be driving your symptoms
  • A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan
  • Practical next steps you can start immediately.

Many clients say this session is the first time things have truly made sense.

4-session Personalised Support Programme - £550

This structured programme provides ongoing support and includes:

  • A comprehensive initial consultation
  • Three follow-up sessions
  • Personalised, written nutrition plans
  • Supporting resources
  • Access to your own secure client portal
  • Messaging support between sessions

This programme allows us to create lasting and sustainable change together.

Functional Testing

I offer access to functional testing to provide a deeper insight into areas such as nutrient state, gut health, nutrigenomics and hormonal patterns.

These tests are not used to diagnose medical conditions, but help to identify specific areas for support and inform more targeted nutrition strategies.

Functional testing is available as an optional part of a programme or as a package that includes the test, interpretation and nutrition plan.

Who I Work With

I primarily support midlife women who are experiencing unwanted weight changes, ongoing fatigue, lacking energy, digestive discomfort and are feeling frustrated that they've lost control of their health.

If you're feeling stuck and want to understand what's really going on, you can book a call to see if this approach feels right for you.

"Amanda has been an invaluable support.  I was confident she would be able to help me achieve my goals and she did not disappoint. Lovely lady, thank you Amanda!"  SC

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied for three years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), graduating as a nutritionist with Distinction, and then completed a post-graduate qualification in nutrition support for cancer.

Alongside working with individual clients, I work with groups and organisations, helping their members and employees improve energy, balance, performance and long-term health.  I am also a clinical supervisor, supporting nutrition students to meet the high standards expected of qualified professionals.  My work has been featured in several national publications, covering a range of health, nutrition and lifestyle topics.

I am trained and registered to offer, analyse and interpret functional tests, including nutrigenomics, hormone, stool and blood testing.  I am also a qualified phlebotomist and work with a range of laboratories.

I am fully insured and a member of  the professional body, the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT).  I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC), the UK regulatory body for complementary health care practitioners and I am also a member of the British Society of Integrative Oncology.

Further information

"I had just left hospital with an unexpected health issue that left me really scared to eat certain foods, even though, as a vegan they made up an important part of a healthy nutrition plan. Amanda has helped me make friends with food and for me that is a big win. She gave really great advice and was always on hand with information when I needed it. We worked together over several months to achieve the goals we established in our initial consultation and I’m pleased that many of those goals have been achieved. I shall actually miss the support I received along with the encouragement.  I heartily recommend Amanda and True Food Nutrition. There is so much knowledge and integrity in what they do, and they genuinely and effectively help people. I would recommend them to anybody who wishes to improve their health through nutrition. It is a truly rewarding path to healthier life." JS
