About me

Welcome to Unity Nutrition! I'm Mia, a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I have extensive experience with hormones, thyroid, gut, weight management and autoimmune, as well as a broad spectrum of other issues. I work with people from all walks of life and always strive to get to the root cause of the symptom.

I offer evidence based nutritional support, personalised to you, based on your symptoms, background and requirements. This is done using the functional medicine model to identify potential imbalances to understand how these may be contributing to your symptoms. I then work with you to put a plan in place as to how we address them together.

Please call or email me if you need my help.

Further information

The path that led me to nutritional therapy was my own struggle with hormone imbalance and (P C O S). Due to this my initial specialisum was hormonal support. As Unity Nutrition has evolved I support many areas with a wide range of clients including weight loss, digestion, autoimmune and much more.

As a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (RNTP), I have studied evidenced based research as well as full biochemistry of the human body and clinical practice.
My recommendations are rooted in science, based on the latest research evidence and I regularly attend industry events and training courses to further my knowledge in new developments.

I am here to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to your symptoms and health concerns.

Personalised nutrition is a program tailored specifically to you. It takes into account your symptoms, health goals and dietary preferences.

I will work with you to get to the root cause of your symptoms and produce a sustainable nutrition and lifestyle plan for you.

What we will cover:

-An online live video session with Mia
-Minimum 8 hrs research into your case
-Personal Health History: a full discovery from birth up to the present, looking at your body, mind and any significant life events and medications.
-Full case analysis based on the functional medicine model.
-Personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan
-Personalised professional supplement plan where necessary.
-Direct contact with your GP or consultant to request NHS testing where required.
-Recommendations for functional laboratory testing and interpretation where necessary.

I am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapy and lifestyle medicine (BANT) and the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which govern the way I practice to ensure I meet high professional standards. I am alumni of the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION).

This is met with a strong passion for joyful food and better, whole body health.
