Hello, I’m Katie, welcome to my profile. Nutrition and health coaching is here to give you practical ways of living and eating that really work.
I can help you to find the smallest, but most powerful changes to start that journey. Together we will look for simple and practical diet and lifestyle strategies, aimed at creating lasting sustainable results. My purpose is to jump start you on your journey to better health and wellness.

I am here to guide you through healthy eating and help you discover delicious food that you will love. My passion is the Microbiome (gut health), because recent research is clearly showing that gut health impacts blood sugar regulation, many types of pain, mental health, gut health… the list grows every year.

Training, qualifications & experience
Degree in Nutrition & Public Health BSc (Hons) - including a research year working for the University.
Masters by Research (MRes) - Two year research project in exercise biochemistry. Included some teaching on the Nutrition & Public health degree.
AfN Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) - In line with the Association for Nutrition guidelines, information & advice is based on sound scientific evidence.
European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) - this allows a mix of health coaching and traditional nutrition advice. This hybrid works well for meaningful diet and lifestyle changes.
Continuous Personal Development (CPD) - undergoing regular training and research to stay on the cutting edge of the profession.
Experience - working in this area for 10 years.

A group of 3 or more sessions include diet diary analysis with report and access to Libro (food and lifestyle tracking app).
Sessions are weekly and last for 50 minutes.
Fees include ongoing text and email support.
When I work
I try to accommodate everyone so please email me if the above hours are not suitable for you, we can then find a time outside my usual hours that is suitable.
What to expect from the sessions….
My focus is to give you personalised support to empower you to make meaningful, lasting changes for better health. Before the first session you will be given assessment forms to fill in, these are about your current health and lifestyle. In the first session, I take the time to listen to your health story and health & diet goals. We look at practical changes that you can start making right now, today, to get you started on your journey. Each week we talk about what works for you and what doesn’t so we can keep you on track for your health goals. My aim is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be with sustainable changes that really work.

Stomach Pain and Bloating
The weight has remained off, in fact I am sub-12 stone now, about 11st12lbs. Considering I was 13st 5 lbs when we started this journey I am delighted. I am running 3 times a week (about 7-9kms, 5.30 min/kms) so have probably never felt fitter! I am rarely bloated now, whilst my stomach pain was regularly at a 7 or an 8 I never go above a 3 so it is very moderate compared to how it used to be. So, all in all, about 9 months on from when we met I remain delighted of my progress!! 😊

Gut Health and Immune Health
One of the best things I have done was speaking to Katie. Research has shown how important gut health is to our overall wellbeing and she was so informative and helped set out a plan for me (and my family) Right now more than ever do we need good health for our immune system! I couldn’t have navigated this without her.
