About me

If your health isn't where you'd like it to be, nutrition can often be part of the answer.

Many of the people I work with feel confused by conflicting advice or disappointed that they've tried different approaches without getting the results they hoped for.  Some are struggling with digestive symptoms, low energy, weight changes, blood sugar concerns, cholesterol issues, midlife health changes, or a combination of several issues.  Others simply know they don't feel as well as they used to and want some expert guidance.

I help adults understand what may be contributing to their symptoms and health concerns, then create a personalised plan that feels realistic and achievable.  Rather than following strict rules or quick fixes, we'll focus on practical changes that fit around your lifestyle, preferences and goals.

My approach is evidence-based, supportive and tailored to you.  Together we'll look at your health history, current habits, symptoms, blood test results, and the bigger picture of what's happening in your life.  From there, we'll build a clear plan so you know exactly what to focus on next.

You don't have to work it all out on your own. Sometimes having the right support and a clear direction can make all the difference.

What to expect from the sessions….

My focus is to give you personalised support to empower you to make meaningful, lasting changes for better health.  Before the first session you will be given assessment forms to fill in, these are about your current health and lifestyle.  In the first session, I take the time to listen to your health story and health & diet goals.  We look at practical changes that you can start making right now, today, to get you started on your journey.  Each week we talk about what works for you and what doesn’t so we can keep you on track for your health goals.  My aim is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be with sustainable changes that really work.

Here are some of the lovely things my clients have said.....

Stomach Pain and Bloating
The weight has remained off, in fact I am sub-12 stone now, about 11st12lbs. Considering I was 13st 5 lbs when we started this journey I am delighted. I am running 3 times a week (about 7-9kms, 5.30 min/kms) so have probably never felt fitter!  I am rarely bloated now, whilst my stomach pain was regularly at a 7 or an 8 I never go above a 3 so it is very moderate compared to how it used to be.  So, all in all, about 9 months on from when we met I remain delighted of my progress!! 😊

Healthy Eating guidance
After seeing Katie, I have no hesitation in recommending her. My goal was not only to address what I suspected were food related health issues but more importantly to grow my knowledge of nutrition and understand ‘why’ the changes to my diet and lifestyle were necessary. Katie has done just that. Rather than simply prescribing foods to eat, she’s helped me understand why certain foods are good (or not so good) and so enabled me to make more informed decisions of my own. Throughout the process, she’s been warm, supportive but also kept me on track and challenged some of my choices….which has been hugely important. Needless to say the food relates health issues I had to start with have now been resolved but I’ll continue to work with Katie as I now see her work as invaluable to my overall future health and wellbeing.

Painful Joints
A very informative and understanding person. Who put me at ease with my concerns and provided excellent advice.  Highly recommended.

Gut Health and Immune Health
One of the best things I have done was speaking to Katie. Research has shown how important gut health is to our overall wellbeing and she was so informative and helped set out a plan for me (and my family). I couldn’t have navigated this without her.

Weight Management
Me and my teenage daughter have been working with Katie for over six months now. She has been a total inspiration and the results have been amazing. She has totally inspired me and my daughter to make healthy nutritious decisions. We have so much more energy and zest for life.
