About me
At some time in our life we all come up against the hurdle of poor health, which can often result in long-term and chronic conditions. Like many therapists, my own journey began with my family’s health, and as such I have extensive knowledge of supporting multiple allergies, sensory processing and attention issues, mood and gut health which have been managed though dietary and lifestyle modifications, and lead to me pursuing a formal qualification in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy.
Nutrients from our food provide the foundation for life within every cell of the body and I am passionate about nutrition and helping to empower my clients to engage in self-care by choosing foods which nourish them as part of their own health journey.
Using the functional medicine model, this client-centred approach will take into account the presenting symptoms but will look beyond for the root cause of ill health and consider influences to health that may be coming from dietary, emotional, mental and structural factors.
By addressing the root causes, the naturopathic principles I employ aim to support health and prevent illness, by encouraging the right conditions for the body to flourish.
Through nutritional therapy this holistic approach incorporates diet, lifestyle and other factors to produce a comprehensive assessment of the client’s current health, from which I can create a plan; individualised and tailor made to your needs.
I really recommend taking advantage of the free 20 minute telephone call where we can discuss your symptoms, how the consultation process works and whether nutritional therapy is the right path for you.
I work exclusively online via video, which allow us to still meet face to face and actively engage.
I am comfortable working with both individuals and families,
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a qualification in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy (3 years, including clinical practice training and meeting the 5 NOS (National Occupational Standards) criteria relevant to the training).
Nutritional Therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
I am a member of and regulated by the Naturopathic Nutritional Association (NNA) and the General Naturopathic Council (GNC) and hold full professional insurance.

Information about health conditions (*)
Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
