About me
I am Alicia, a Registered Dietitian specialising in paediatric and infant nutrition.
Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) & the British Dietetic Association (BDA), I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Dietetics at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where I am also a part of a paediatric work group where the latest evidenced based practices in the paediatric subset is studied. Other certifications that I completed are around breastfeeding and lactation.
Seeing your little one falter on their growth and development due to some concern implicating nutrition or the gastrointestinal tract may be very frustrating. As parents you may feel very helpless especially when there is so much contradicting information available online. As a dietitian specialising in paediatrics, I pride myself in my wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise and have a passion for approaching each child holistically, addressing needs and requirements individually. I aim to be your nutritional go-to for any nutrition related concerns and pledge to provide a quality personalised service which will not only give you peace of mind as a parent but most importantly leave your little one feeling their best while growing like a champion.
In our sessions, we will have a comprehensive discussion around your child’s health, medical background, and nutritional concerns at hand. We will identify any factors that may have contributed to the symptom onset and discuss evidenced based strategies on how we will address this best within the framework of your lifestyle. I enjoy empowering parents to be more vigilant and proactive when it comes to all things nutrition.
