About me

Hello! I'm Lorna, a registered dietitian and HCPC approved looking to support you & your children with your nutrition and dietary goals. I have experience in weight management, promoting both weight loss and weight gain depending on the individual's needs, as well as general dietary advice in a range of areas for both adults and children.

I also specialise in faltering growth, weight loss and milk allergies in children.

I regularly participate in training days and courses as well as having NHS experience which enables me to stay up to date with clinical guidelines and provide the best up to date advice to my clients.

I am able to provide services during week day evenings as well as Saturdays and am able to be flexible to meet your needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc) at Newcastle University in Food and Human Nutrition and then went on to study MSc Dietetics at King's College London.

I am a registered dietitian and HCPC approved as well as being a member of the BDA.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
