About me
Hello! I'm Ai and I am a Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Weight Management Specialist Dietitian. I have over 10 years of experience in managing people with diabetes, diabetes prevention and remission, as well as weight management and all areas of cardiovascular disease having been a Cardiovascular Lead Dietitian in London. My experience has involved providing education and delivering treatment programmes across all London boroughs. I worked on the first ever diabetes prevention programme which launched in London and have helped thousands of people manage their blood sugars better and even put their diabetes into remission.
I have worked in the NHS, private companies, charity organisations and now freelance work.
The way I work is to let the client lead the way, putting the person at the centre of their care. I am passionate about helping people and offer my close support along the way. I am trained in behaviour change techniques to help support eating behaviours should one need this support.
I'm also passionate about exercise and have trained as a fitness professional being a personal trainer and pilates instructor which goes hand in hand with your dietary treatment to help maximise your ability to achieve your goals.
I offer packages and individual consultations and a free 10 minute discovery call prior to your journey with me.

My name is Ai Britton and I am a UK Registered Diabetes Specialist Dietitian based in London. My career has always been in the specialist field of diabetes, weight management and cardiovascular disease since 2013 in the NHS as well as the private sector and charities across central and Greater London. My passion is to help treat people with type 2 diabetes, whether newly diagnosed or long-standing, as well as prevent diabetes (those with prediabetes) and help people achieve diabetes remission. I have helped very many clients achieve what they set out to achieve.
Recently I was selected to get involved in tweaking recipes and food photography for Birmingham Council in the Cook the Commonwealth project in line with the Commonwealth Games 2022.
I also have experience with menu reconstruction for care homes and charitable organisations and treating many other conditions such as cardiovascular disease (and in cardiac rehabilitation), liver conditions, women’s health and more.
I believe that there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to balancing your diet and lifestyle. Being a personal trainer and pilates instructor, and with training in sports nutrition, you will be provided with an individualised tailored dietetic and lifestyle plan that is most appropriate to you.
