I am a registered dietitian and a nutritionist with over 20 years of experience as a clinician, trainer and a consultant. I work with a friendly team of experts to provide evidence-based nutrition services to individuals, organisations and corporate bodies. Training, qualifications & experience
My key experiences have been supporting people to make sustained changes to their nutrition. I have chaired national nutrition guidelines groups and worked with various international expert groups so I developed a deeper understanding of what works for different individuals. Apart from being a nutrition lecturer at a university, my relevant formal training includes
- Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Dietetics from Leeds Metropolitan University
- Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nutrition from University of Ghana
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nutrition and Food Science from University of Ghana
- Certificate in Diabetes from University of Warwick
I am Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered as a dietitian and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
