It’s never too early…or late to learn about hormone balance. A common myth is that menopause is something you don’t need to worry about until it happens. The truth is hormone levels can start to drift downward from your 30’s. So paying attention and optimising health now can alleviate the sense of feeling overwhelmed later.
Menopause is a time of natural change and a normal part of every woman’s life. Some women sail through the transition with relative ease but for many going through it can be a little like driving on an unfamiliar, twisting road with an unclear destination, experiencing symptoms that range from being uncomfortable to debilitating, such as hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, mood swings, depression, dry skin and other physical changes.
Come along to this health talk and find out how good nutrition and simple lifestyle changes can help you to prepare for and support you through the menopause.
Jo’s health talks are friendly and informal and held in a comfortable and relaxed setting. At each talk, you will receive keynotes with food ideas and easy recipes to try at home. Refreshments are provided and there is always a good selection of delicious snacks/tasters to try, catering for vegans and food intolerances.
Places are limited so book early to secure your spot. https://www.eventbrite.com/o/ jo-feakes-nutrition- 16653217185
