About me

Hi I'm Sarah, a certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner. We understand how hard it is to live with chronic health conditions.

We work with men, women and children alike and can help with chronic conditions relating to the bowel, digestion and autoimmune conditions. We also help with the following conditions relating to:

  • Skin
  • Digestion
  • Environmental toxicity
  • Bladder
  • Hormones
  • Weight loss issues
  • Neurological
  • Emotional health
  • Sleep

Whatever your condition, we can help you to significantly improve your health, by guiding you through vital nutrition and lifestyle choices and gentle natural supplements.  We work with leading laboratories to offer functional testing, where appropriate. We offer trusted, evidence based advice and recommendations, and are fully insured, friendly and reliable.

We take a whole approach and consider your lifestyle, nutrition, genetic disposition, psychology, and your UNIQUE biochemistry to help identify the root cause of your health concerns.

We always work closely with your medical team to help you achieve your health goals.

So, how to get started?

* Give us a call or Whatsapp us on 07769 745286 to arrange a free 15 minute chat to discuss your aims and objectives in your nutrition journey and to see if it's a good fit!

* If you like the sound of our approach, we can set up a second session where we will take a detailed health history and really get to know you. Our work will start in earnest during the third session.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Training, qualifications & experience

Fully qualified under one of the leading Functional Nutritionists in the USA, Andrea Nakayama, I am a fully certified Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner.

I am involved in patient support groups across the UK for children with metabolic conditions, specifically Congenital Sucrase - Isomaltase Deficiency (CSID) and Patient Advisor on a Global Research Panel for CSID and IBS.

My interest in Functional Nutrition began over ten years ago when both my children were poorly with a rare metabolic condition that prevented them from eating both starch and sugars. I led the successful diagnosis of their rare condition and led them gently through 5 years of gut healing and nurturing. They were my first patients! I subsequently struggled with my own health with autoimmune and gallbladder conditions, which I have successfully resolved by implementing dietary changes.

I decided to retrain in Functional Nutrition to consolidate my experience of the huge impact that food has on our body and the importance of choosing our foods wisely to optimise our health.

I now have clients across the globe and also work closely with my US counterparts to ensure that we share global Best Practice in everything we do.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Additional information

My fees can be found on my website at www.zmedclinix.com/services

I offer a free 15 minute first session to get to know each other, to explain how we can work together and to ensure that I can help you.

The first session is often a one hour "diet cleanse" session where we run through your typical diet, which we will usually offer some suggestions to tweak it appropriately to set you on the right course for following sessions. This session costs £95 for one hour.

The next step is the first part of the two part case review, which is where our work really starts!

Each session is one hour long, and both sessions cost a total of £295.

In the first session we will run through your health history and take detailed notes which we will share with you at the end of the second session. We will ask you to fill in a detailed health questionnaire prior to this session.

In the second session we will drill down deeply into your health concerns,  review your health history, blood test results, other tests and make some nutrition recommendations based on your health history and symptoms.

We do not diagnose and work closely with your medical team.

Any further consultations cost £135 for a one hour session.

Many health concerns can be addressed and improved after just these 3 sessions (approximately 90% are in our experience). Sometimes we may need to conduct further tests and these are priced individually.

We do not ask for expensive up front tests to be conducted before we see you as we find that really listening to our clients and making appropriate adjustments can often resolve many complex cases.

We would love to help you!

Helping people with their health concerns is our passion.
