About me
Hello!
I am Vasiliki, a dedicated NHS & Private Specialist Dietitian and the Founder of Wellness Bites Ltd, a private consultancy committed to delivering expert dietetic care on a personalized, one-on-one basis. Through my extensive experience working in various medical specialties across esteemed London NHS Trusts, I have honed my skills and knowledge to provide exceptional dietary advice.
I aim to empower you to optimize your diet and enhance your overall health and well-being.
I currently work for the NHS as a Joint Specialist Community and Primary Care Network Dietitian for a GP Alliance and Community Service in South East London, alongside my freelance role, in which I partner with local private GP practices and corporate wellness online platforms, such as the Wellhub/Nutrium. I was previously a member of the private Dietitians at London Bridge Hospital (The Shard), part of HCA Healthcare UK. My expertise is in prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, dietary management of gastrointestinal conditions, nutrition support, and weight management.
Please note that I am a recognised practitioner with various health insurances, including Vitality, Aviva, Axa, and WPA.
My nutrition journey began in my teens when I was diagnosed with IBS, leading me to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition at the London Metropolitan University in 2017. Despite growing up in a Mediterranean household with delicious and balanced meals, my condition necessitated dietary adjustments. Like many others, I faced challenges and fluctuations in my approach to dieting.
My overarching goal is to guide you toward improving your eating habits, fostering comfort and creativity in the kitchen, and treating food with the utmost care.
Rejecting the notion of 'good' or 'bad' foods, I emphasize the importance of finding a balance that satisfies both the body and soul. I am committed to helping you navigate this balance and fall in love with your food and yourself!
I look forward to working together!
Best Wishes,
Vasiliki
