About me

Hi, I’m Sarah—thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

Rather than focusing on a single symptom or a single bodily system (like digestion), I assess how all the 11 body "systems" work individually and together. I work out which of your 11 systems are not operating to their full capacity. This  includes digestion, but also hormones, the nervous system, cardiovascular, reproductive, endocrine, respiratory, and immune health (to name some). By supporting these systems in a gentle and coordinated way, we can begin to address underlying imbalances more sustainably. Often the stuggle of 1 our bodies systems affects the operation of another system

Over the years, I’ve supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including long-standing and complex health issues. For example, I’ve worked with people looking to reduce reliance on medications, and others who have experienced meaningful improvements in areas such as hormonal and thyroid health through consistent, personalised care.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable sharing what’s going on for you. My approach is centred on working together to gently support your body back into balance.

I typically work with clients over 6–12 months, allowing time to explore root causes and support lasting change. This also gives us the opportunity to notice and respond to shifts along the way, so you feel supported throughout your journey.

I use a range of personalised herbal preparations, including tinctures, teas, and capsules, carefully tailored to your individual needs.

Choosing the right practitioner is an important decision. If you’re curious about working together, you’re very welcome to get in touch for a chat—we can see if it feels like the right fit for you.

I’m a qualified Master Medicinal Herbalist and Iridologist, with four years of training and over 650 hours of supervised clinical experience. I use iris analysis (Iridology) as part of a process of gathering information about your current state,  and alongside in-depth consultations to understand your needs and create bespoke herbal formulations.

I run a busy clinic in Oxford, offering both in-person and online consultations. I support people with a wide range of concerns—please feel free to reach out and ask.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, personalised approach to your health, I’d be glad to support you. I’m also happy to offer guidance if you’re simply looking for advice.

Training, qualifications & experience

Master Medicinal Herbalist - studied in Ireland at the "Irish School of Herbal Medicine" 2017 to 2021 (Degree Level,  including 650 hours of pre-qualifying Clinic experience).

A typical weeks homework would be to

1) buy 12 ingredients

2) make a bowel capsule with these ingredients in it by hand

3) take it for a week

4) then a week later report on how it had affected my digestion, emotions, all systems in my body

Diploma in Iridology - qualified in Ireland at the Irish School of Herbal Medicine in 2017-19.

Iridology and the Iris as a Clinical Map
Iridology is the study of the iris — the coloured portion of the eye — as a reflective map of the body's internal terrain. Practised for centuries and developed into a structured clinical discipline in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, iridology operates on the principle that the iris contains a detailed record of constitutional strengths, inherited tendencies, and the accumulated pattern of a person's health over time.

The iris is divided into zones that correspond to specific organs, systems, and physiological territories. A trained iridologist reads the colour, fibre structure, density, markings, and pigmentation of the iris to build a picture not of disease in the conventional diagnostic sense, but of pattern — where the body holds tension, where elimination is sluggish, where inflammatory load is concentrated, and where depletion has taken root.

In clinical practice, iridology functions as a primary constitutional assessment tool. During a consultation, both irises are examined in detail using specialised magnification and lighting. What emerges is a terrain map: a layered understanding of how the nervous system, digestive function, hepatic and lymphatic pathways, and inflammatory tendency are interacting at that point in a person's life. Significantly, iris markings can also reflect the influence of chronic stress and emotional load on physiological function — an dimension that is increasingly relevant in the context of complex, chronic presentations.

This makes iridology particularly valuable as a clinical starting point alongside a full case history. It allows patterns to be identified that a symptom list alone would not reveal. A client presenting with recurrent skin conditions, for example, may show primary dysregulation in the hepatic-lymphatic axis through the iris, with the skin functioning as a secondary elimination pathway under pressure. Iridology directs clinical attention toward that root rather than the presenting surface.

Used in conjunction with herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle support, iridology offers practitioners a means of working systemically and constitutionally — understanding not only what a person is experiencing, but why their particular terrain has made them susceptible to it, and in what sequence recovery is most likely to hold.

How I Use Iridology in Clinical Practice

Iridology forms the foundation of every initial consultation I conduct. Before a herbal programme is designed, before a treatment sequence is mapped, I look at the iris — because it tells me things that a symptom list cannot.

In practice, I examine both irises under magnification, reading the fibre structure, pigmentation, density, and zone markings to build a constitutional picture of the person in front of me. I am looking for where the body is holding its greatest burden: whether that lies in the nervous system, the digestive and hepatic pathways, the lymphatic and eliminative capacity, or in the inflammatory terrain more broadly.

What this gives me clinically is sequencing intelligence. Iridology does not simply confirm what a client reports — it often reveals what they have not yet connected. It shows me which systems need stabilising first, where the body's eliminative pathways need opening before deeper work can hold, and where emotional and physical load have become inseparable.

The result is a treatment plan that works with the body's own logic rather than against it — addressing root cause before symptom, and terrain before tissue.

I am very interested in expanding my knowledge as a Herbalist and spend many hours researching each clients condition before I create their herbal remedy. As a Practioner I am also particularly interested in finding the root cause of any illness.

Herbal medicine can also be used as preventative medicine and herbs can be taken to bring the body back into balance after a diagnosis has been received. Herbal medicine can also work alongside many pharmaceutical medicines.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding your condition or your treatment.
