About me
Hi, I’m Sara, founder of Nourished with Intuition. I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m an AfN Registered Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, and a mum. My work centres on supporting parents, children and families as a whole, recognising that feeding doesn’t happen in isolation but within the wider family dynamic.
I offer compassionate, weight-inclusive, evidence-based nutrition support grounded in intuitive eating and responsive feeding. My approach moves away from diets and weight-focused thinking, and is collaborative, tailored to you, and able to complement other healthcare support.
I work with:
- pregnant individuals
- parents navigating weaning and early feeding
- fussy or selective eating
- feeding dynamics within the family
- those stuck in cycles of dieting, weight cycling, and food rules
- anyone experiencing shame, or stress around food and eating
- adults looking to rebuild trust with food
I draw on frameworks such as Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibility and baby-led weaning approaches to support feeding in a way that respects both structure and autonomy.
My work is supportive and educational in nature. I aim to help you move away from pressure, rigidity, and food-related stress, and towards a more flexible, confident, and compassionate way of feeding yourself or your child.
Trust over control sits at the core of my approach, supporting both parents and children to stay connected to their internal cues over time.
