About me
Hi, I’m Ruby.
I’m a registered dietitian based in London, with a specialist focus on helping babies, children and young people who have feeding challenges, neurodivergent needs, or more complex nutritional requirements.
I often work with families who feel anxious, stuck or unsure about what to do next, especially when mealtimes feel difficult or feeding hasn’t gone the way they imagined. My style is compassionate, practical and neuro-affirming. I support children as they are, respecting their differences rather than trying to fit them into rigid expectations.
I don’t believe there’s one “correct” way for a child to eat. Every young person’s relationship with food develops differently, and my role is to support nourishment, growth, safety and overall wellbeing while honouring sensory preferences, routines and personality. Whether a child is eating very small amounts, has a narrow list of accepted foods, is experiencing weight or growth concerns, or relies on tube feeding, I work with families to create realistic, pressure-free plans that feel achievable in everyday life.
Providing culturally aware and inclusive care is also important to me. I aim to make nutrition guidance feel clear, respectful and empowering for all families. I work closely with parents, carers, schools and healthcare professionals, so support feels joined-up and you’re never facing feeding struggles on your own.
At Dietitian Fit & Co, my aim is to help families feel listened to, understood and more confident, gradually shifting feeding from something overwhelming to something calmer and more manageable.
