About me
I am Reema Pillai, a Registered Dietitian and member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) & the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Surrey, and a Master of Science in Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Loughborough University.I love working with people to help better their relationship with food, as well as providing support and guidance around different areas of their health and wellbeing. This may be through using behavioural change techniques or motivational interviewing, which I am trained in. I am an empathetic and non-judgemental person, and will always work to set realistic and measurable goals with clients that they feel happy with. My approach is to educate and empower people to make the most informed choices to help better themselves in whatever area that may be. I have experience working with clients who are looking to lose weight, need help with emotional eating, as well as navigate certain dietary requirements, such as following a plant-based or vegan lifestyle. I believe that everyone is unique in their own way, so tailored advice is important for long-term consistency and happiness.
Outside of work, you will find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes for my loved ones, or going for long walks with my dog and fiancé!
