About me
I’m Rebecca, a Registered Dietitian, with over 13 years of experience. In a world full of food noise, miseducation, social media and often judgement, I aim to educate and empower clients to achieve their individual goals. I review research and use my experience to shape the advice provided in a space that is safe and welcoming.
I provide nutritional advice for many conditions, including:
- Weight loss
Weight regulation is a complex system involving hormones, genetics and the gut microbiome. Individualised nutrition is vital for weight loss and a one size fits all approach does not work. I work with clients to develop nutritional plans and can support people that are using the weight loss medication GLP-1 agonist injections, such as Mounjaro and Ozempic, to ensure the body maintains optimal nutritional status and aid weight maintenance post medication use. - Perimenopause and menopause.
Nutrition can often be overlooked when managing menopause health. Every woman’s menopause journey is different, however, weight gain, bone mineral density loss and increased risk of cardiovascular disease is common. Dietary changes can improve long term health and even reduce the need for medications. - M.E/CFS
Robust evidence is lacking in this area, however, emerging research around the gut microbiome and low-inflammatory diet is helping shape nutrition adaptations to aid wellbeing and quality of life for individuals suffering with M.E. As a sufferer myself, I have first hand experience of how diet can help improve symptoms and optimise the immune system. - Nutrition Support
In addition to working in the private sector, I continue to work within the NHS as a Lead Critical Care, Surgical and Parenteral Nutrition Dietitian. Improving nutritional status post-surgery and for individuals with chronic healthcare conditions aids wellbeing, rehabilitation and recovery. The NHS has limited resources, I offer tailored, in depth nutritional assessment and advice.
I am always happy to chat, if you have any questions or are unsure if I could help, please don't hesitate to give me a call.
