She is the founder of "Nourish Dietitian," a service dedicated to delivering evidence-based, trusted nutrition advice to clients from the comfort of their homes.

Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals regulated by law, and governed by an ethical code so you can be confident that you are receiving safe and evidence based nutritional advice.

Why Choose Me?

Clinical Experience:  As a committed and passionate HCPC Registered Dietitian, I bring years of experience from NHS hospitals, clinics, the private sector, digital health, and the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, I work as a registered Dietitian in Edinburgh for the weight management and Type 2 Diabetes Prevention service. My mission is to inspire and empower clients to make positive lifestyle changes for managing weight and improving health conditions, including pre-diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, dyslipidaemia, fatty liver disease, hypertension, hypothyroidism, and more.

Qualifications:

First Class Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences
Certificate in Health Behaviour Change

Registrations:
The Health and Care Professions Council
Member of the British Dietetic Association
Member of the BDA Specialist Interest Groups: Freelance Dietitians

Scientific Expertise: My background in Biomedical Sciences and my Distinction in Nutrition & Dietetics has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide you with the latest evidence-based nutritional guidance.

Compassionate Care: I believe in a person-centered approach that not only challenges weight stigma & diet culture but also encourages a healthy relationship with food. I'm here to support you, every step of the way.

Behaviour change techniques: I have received specialized training in health behaviour change, holding a certificate from NHS Scotland. This training equips me with valuable skills to assist you in achieving your goals by effectively implementing behaviour change techniques during our collaboration.

Languages: Being fluent in three languages – English, Greek, and German – provides me with an edge in accessing and understanding research from diverse sources. I am also happy to do consultations in English or Greek.

Mediterranean origin: I am half Scottish half Greek and before I moved to Scotland, I was raised on a Greek island called Crete which makes me familiar with the Cretan Mediterranean diet which has been shown to be one of the most representative of all Mediterranean diets for heart health. So if this is an eating pattern you would like to adopt I can also help!

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
